Try unsubscribing from Extra Landscaping Tools, waiting a moment for Steam to remove the files, then subscribe to the mod again. Let it download and then try to start the game again.

Oh no, I'm sorry you're getting messages like that! :O I'm afraid I have no powers outside the community hub, so I can't do anything on profiles. Steam will have to deal with that. :/ I sug... Read more

I have only one question to pass on to the absentee publishers...
To what extent do they acknowledge the discontent they have caused with the adoption of their new launcher?

Thank you! Hopefully I can help make them feel less absent, even though I can tell you that they aren't. I'm not the only one reading the boards here, I'm just way more visible. :)

Yeah, the logs reset every time you start the game. If you get a crash with a pop up saying the game has crashed, then it puts the logs in a folder with the date and time of the crash, which won't reset. But if that didn't happen, the log resets.

Steam doesn't let you upload the log, but there's some links in the guide to places where you can share the file and then post a link here. Alternately you can post on the support forums[forum.paradoxplaza.com] where you can directly attach the log file.

The game does have autosave. I can't remember if it's enabled by default or not, but you can enable it and set how often it saves in the Options menu. It creates just one autosave, so never rely on it for anything other than backup in case of crashes. I have mine set to every 15 min - that doesn't cause me to lose too much progress for how I play and also doesn't have the saves interrupt me too much.

Since we're talking about saves, I just want to recommend you always save as a new file as well. Saves can get corrupted sometimes, so to minimize the risk of losing your city, it's a really good idea to have more saves. I add a number at the end so I have CityName1, CityName2, CityName3 and so on. If a save gets corrupted I just lose some progress instead of my entire city.

Lastly it might indeed be worth looking into the crash. You can share your logs here and we can try and help figure out what caused it. Perhaps it was a one time thing, perhaps there's a problem... Read more

Hello :)

Are you perhaps looking for this one and this one? They are in the Workshop Discussions section, which is the appropriate place. If you didn't post there, then they were likely moved there by mods.

Check the options for Steam and make sure the Steam Overlay is enabled.

MarkJohnson is correct. You go to browse collections and then there's a button to create a new one on the right.

Picture in case anyone can't find it.

How is your storage buildings doing? Are all their trucks in use?

The error basically tells you that the internal storage of those buildings is empty and they haven't received a delivery in time. To fix that you will want to have enough storage buildings so that they have free trucks, that can respond to requests for goods.

This guide goes into a bunch more detail on how to use storages and the typical problems when they aren't working as they should.

Next time it happens, try going to the task manager and find the Windows process called "explorer" and restart it. That should do the trick and will save you the reboot.

Check in Options to make sure the game isn't in Windowed mode.

It's also possible it isn't related to the game. Check if other full screen programs hide the task bar like they should.

I think I know what you're talking about. It's the weird road or path glitches that rip through a map sometimes.

I know they are sometimes caused by certain really old road layouts or interchanges from around the time the game came out. Messing around with road anarchy mods and/or Move It can also cause it, but in my experience that's less likely to happen.

Have you been building your city up in the same way each time? Perhaps there is a space on the map that triggers it or some interchange you're using each time since it keeps happening for you.

I haven't encountered a map having it happen consistently, but I guess it's also possible. What map are you using?

Hmm, haven't seen that message before. Where is the game installed to? And what is your operating system?

If no one here can help, you can open a ticket with Paradox[support.paradoxplaza.com] or post on the official support forums[forum.paradoxplaza.com] for help.

Let's get back on topic. If you want to discuss how you feel about the launcher, do so in the existing threads for that purpose.

If you have suggestions for improvements to the launcher that would make it feel worth having, then please add them here.

When a building is listed as "RICO" on the workshop, it usually means it uses the mod Ploppable RICO, which makes buildings behave like growables (the buildings that automatically spawn in zoned areas). Since growables can only be 4x4 tiles or smaller, the mod was created to allow larger buildings to be more than just decorative.

I would absolutely love a button to load directly into the asset editor, kinda like the "Resume" button for the editor. Bypassing the main menu would save me time. :)

shaneturner12 is correct. The Windows 10 Edition is the Xbox version and does not support mods. You want the Steam version for that. It's sadly not very clear and super frustrating. I would try to get a refund if I was you, so you can get the proper version that supports mods.

It's a hidden folder by default. You need to enable View Hidden in File Explorer to see it.

Yeah it doesn't work for everyone sadly, but it does help in some cases. Sucks for everyone still having issues no doubt. But let's stick to the topic here. There's several discussions already about the launcher, we don't need yet another one. ;)
