I have not picked them up though as I said,

I spec'd my capt as a secondary build. So have BFT, AFT, and Manual Fire Control. Secondaries still reach out to 9.9 km and with my upgrade choice, my main guns are still firing every 22.9 sec.
I personally like it, but be sure to test different builds. What build are looking to give the Georgia first @clammboy?

For upgrades, I have (From left to right) Main armaments Mod 1, Damage Control System Mod 1, Artillery Plotting Room Mod 1, Steering Gears Mod 2, Concealment System Mod 1, and last, but the key to getting the reload time down to that 22.9 sec reload, Main Battery Mod 3.

I have managed to get the main guns down to a 22.9 sec reload thanks to MBM3 upgrade. I am enjoying that at the moment.

It is a fun ship. Have mine set up for secondaries to deal with those pesky DD's.

It's fun seeing them realize they have "Chosen Poorly" when they begin to melt from the Georgias 127mm lighting them up.

How have games been in the USS Georgia so far? Has anyone faced one down so far?

What was it about the USS Georgia that tempted you into picking her up?

I believe many Captains will "Have Georgia on thier minds today" today.

When your in a destroyer you need to be looking at the minimap even more obsessively than normal.
I highly suggest that you check it multiple times as you get ready to drop. Especially as you get into Torps with greater and greater range.
Torps are not a precise weapon by there very nature and once you fire them they run there course regardless who may be on the receiving end.

As a DD main I would also suggest letting your team know if torps may be ANYWHERE NEAR them. I normally type "TORPS INBOUND! From LEFT (or whatever direction they may intersect with your teammate.) This way they may be able to dodge, stop, tactically beach etc.

Just remember at the end of the battle you are responsible for each torp fired. Make sure you have looked at the pathway of it before you "let it out into the wild."

Which operation is your favorite so far to play?

We would love to visit Hawaii to visit the USS Missouri (BB-63) and pay our respects to the USS Arizona memorial.

The distance does provide a challenge but perhaps on future Anchors Away Tours we will make it out there.

Just highly focused on the task at hand.

Thanks for sharing your perspective @DiddleDum As someone who works hard on my " adjusting my grip a quarter inch" I do feel the frustration that can result from that.
We should remember that there are some in the game working hard at improving but still have a ways to go.

But if players have patience and do their best to keep posting aids like this one and other suggestions to help players, I believe we will see improvement.

As much as torp armed Nelson would be amazing to play we do need to keep an eye on balance.

There are other ships in-game that had torps in their operational lifecycle, even the USS Texas,

But what other ship, that actually was armed with torps, would you like to see armed added to the game?
