@tm63au I believe we have likely seen the same movies.

Unfortunately, to get that exact "location" we would need permission and rights. That being said, thank you for requesting more easter egg items. They are fun to find and show the hard work care our dev team puts into each map.

Great game @Gyphon_GF ,

Well played and thank you for sharing. I am at the USS North Carolina in the tech tree and was not overly anxious to keep climbing, but I may grind it now. You have piqued my interest.

Thanks for the video.

@1SneakyDevil is right. Think of it like a sand bar or a reef. Sometimes it slows you down others it will stop you like you hit a wall.

BTW, thanks for posting your question and welcome to the forums and community. Great group here that will help out when you have questions.

Thanks for the posts @IJN_Yamato_BB17 and remembering this day,

Video does a great job of explaining the hows as well as it nails the why's of the German captains and crews.

Thanks for the great images and painting @Shigure_DD

They should give it another go. With modern CG and real effects, I would be in the "Take my MONEY" line the minute they announced it. Get some intense actor like Tom Hardy to play EE Evens and load the film with GOOD Actors and it would print money and likely win awards. The true story would carry it, IMO.

She is a great looking ship that can also perform. Glad you enjoying bringing her out again.

I am also very curious to see how she performs in Ranked Sprint. GL

Yes, that is where you post a ticket.

Afternoon Eate_Purple,

@DrHolmes52Is correct. Sharing someone's name in an image falls under the "naming and shaming" rules. What I would recommend is taking all the screenshots, and all the info you have and include it in a trouble ticket. This will allow our CS folks to take the appropriate action.

Really hope you battles improve today and all the best.

An amazing book, Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors, that I can not recommend highly enough.

If ever a battle should be turned into a major motion picture the battle of taffy 3 should be at the front of the line.

The heroics are of such an epic nature that they stand out even now, 70 plus years later.

As great a ship the Nelson was I believe in a one on one duel the Bismarck triumphs. However, the German BB would likely suffer heavy damage in the process.

If the Bismarck could hold distance and speed, it could, possibly, kite the Nelson.

Though the specific captains could play a massive role in the fight, as well.

I am with @mcgibe on this one. Let it be a place for divers to discover the wrecks and celebrate the history of that time frame. Also, tourism dollars will help the local economy as if you look at it on a map Scapa flow aka the Orkney Islands are kinda out in the middle of nowhere. Now I don't dive but for the opportunity to explore some of these wrecks up close I would learn how to.

I just went through the signup so it should be working. Just make sure you're logged in.

Went with the US Navy for many reasons, but having 20 ships between tier 4 and 7 might have been a part of that process. I am excited about the event.

Hope everyone gets all dug in and has a great time!

I believe it is time to buy back my Fiji. Get back into the swing, sway, style of that fantastic Tier 7 cruiser.

Rank sprint will be a great time to get back in her see what she can do!

I am actually pumped to have the reason to get her back and get my skills back up to snuff!

Epic pictures @Jnobsire Showing us the real trials of the see, before the marvel of engines came to the fore!

It looks amazing, but absolutely terrifying at the same time!

Really well-done @Avenge_December_7!!

Great article, well researched and with details that even a hardcore Naval History fan was unfamiliar with.

Thank you, sir!

So far my max has been 4 days. Had a game where my torps killed a teammate charging the Red DD at max speed. Next battle I had some ill-timed gunfire that took down a low health Dallas.

It is a real sale. https://www.scotsman.com/news/environment/first-world-war-scapa-flow-battleships-put-up-for-sale-on-ebay-1-4948943?fbclid=IwAR0UpSSeR7gzr8VyMdgf00e2o8zIC0p2iTYR34TxCoUAMjn6FkWURweTnQs

Owning them would entitle you to dive be as close as 1 foot from the ships, or even enter and retrieve certain approved found items.

What ships would you want to dive and inspect if they still intact and close to the surface?
