The most rational answer I’ve ever seen to this.
A Rioter posted on the other thread that they already have a 12.10b micropatch planned.
They know some shit will be busted in both directions, but they don't know who exactly, and by how much, so they don't wanna pre-nerf.
The team does a great job of trying to understand and predict all second and third order impacts from changes like this. That said we only have 200 years of experience, so we won’t get everything right. Trust we’ll correct where we need to.
hopefully this means we wont get an incident like vayne or kayle at 55%~60% wr for an entire patch(es)
If there’s anything that’s clearly an outlier you can trust that we’ll be monitoring and adjusting where we need to.
Excited for these changes. The team has been incredibly thoughtful and also has been testing this for some time internally. We definitely won’t get everything right out of the gates and as some here have pointed out, there will likely have to be adjustments afterwards for a few patches.

Whenever my group of friends play and lose a game, we often say, “Hey but we we’re winning right up until we lost tho.” Absolutely epic quote.
Knowing how to productively give feedback to others so you can all level up your performance collectively is just as important as your own ability to reflect on games and identify areas for your own focused improvement.
I struggled with this during my earlier years of ranked and playing with friends. I was fortunate to have people who could highlight the impact I was having on them and trusted me enough to give me feedback. It was tough to swallow but it made me a better player and person long term. I wish Forg1ven the best.

Thank you for your hard work, I’m sorry for all the negative comments you guys get, that shouldn’t be part of anybody’s job description.
Feedback is an essential part of any healthy relationship, though the anonymity of the internet allows people to be a bit more direct or less empathetic than they’d be in normal every day life. Regardless we know people only deliver feedback when they care enough about a game to do something about it.

I have friends who never tried League, and they shit on me for playing this game for a decade and not moving on. They fail to understand how it is possible for me or anyone to still be interested.
This game gave me an escape from watching my favorite shooter of all time(Halo) being ruined by a company who didn't care. So thanks for all the hard work.

As another person who moved from OW as a gm, I can’t believe it took me as long as it did to start league (spring 2020). The learning experience was far more difficult than any other game and thus that much more rewarding, and to actually have patches like every 2 weeks and frequent new champs just bewildered me. Thank you and your team(s) for your hard work <3
