Given that TFT is a new product, we had some uncertainty around coupling it with the Arcade Event. (Ex: If you bought the pass with the expectation of playing TFT for tokens and then we had to take down TFT for some reason, that would be a pretty frustrating.). Given TFT is in beta we decided to err on the side of caution here.

Note: TFT is still not out in every region, and the team still has a lot of work to do in order to make it available globally along with following up from a stability of service perspective.

Regardless, we absolutely hear you, and we are looking for ways to adjust other event passes this year to include and accommodate for TFT.

The city of Demacia Vice definitely has enough room for more than one mob boss. ;)

Whenever we make a skin we’re faced with a lot of difficult choices. Not only what thematic world we want to visit but also what champion to make it for.

There are some champions that have much smaller audiences than others. This means that some skins don’t do as good or a job of “paying the bills” as others.

This all being said, we don’t always choose to min-max for revenue, which is why you skins being made for lower play rate champs like Papercraft Anivia or Darkstar Shaco.

One active effort we do have though, is we’re trying to augment our skins and content pipeline through a variety of means. This is both having more people work on League content but also looking at our tools and processes and trying to find more effective ways of working. The end result, we hope, is that we can create more skins for lower play rate champs per year.

We have a similar hope. Will have to wait and see if players globally really enjoy the thematic, if so then we’d be more than happy to expand the world of Demacia Vice.

Not an uncommon request. Definitely being considered for future visits to the Pool Party theme. :)

No Pool Party on the immediate horizon.

Currently we’re not planning on any pool party champs for this year. Is there a particular champion you’re looking yo see in it?

It’s true that every set of skins we work on are the product of passion and creativity. It’s also true that we’re excited at how these turned out. We’re hoping that players really like and support both Arcade and Demacia Vice so we can go bigger and better next time around.

Inb4 meme about Riot only making Lux skins.

Demacia Vice is a separate thematic from Arcade. We just decided to bundle them into the same event because they’re both colorful, playful, and fun.

Can’t confirm anything as of yet. Assuming these have a strong reception you can bet that we’ll be happy to hear suggestions. :)

Feel free to post here on Reddit once the skins come out. Sure there will be a thread on release.

Demacia Vice is it’s own skin universe. We just paired it with Arcade for our summer event this year.

While we are a western game development studio we do try to balance between the tastes of eastern and western players alike. There are some skins in the works that hopefully hit on some of the desired aesthetics you mention.

We hope it lives up to your expectations. :)

The TFT Team is looking to release, validate that players enjoy the mode, but also validate that it is stable at scale.

Because there’s some amount of uncertainty, we didn’t want to tie the pass to TFT. (Would feel bad if you bought the pass wanting to get tokens via TFT and then something went awry.)

We’re definitely going to examine options for TFT + Event Passes in the future. Just won’t be integrated for its first run around the block.

This doesn’t mean that there aren’t rewards in the current Event Pass that work in both SR and TFT. The event exclusive KO and Game Over emotes will likely be spammed in a TFT game coming to you soon.
