Prior to our official announcement of Path of Exile: Legion today, there was an unfortunate leak of some of the expansion information. We wanted to share our appreciation for how this was handled by the community.
We received several private DMs to let us know about this before the community at large became aware of the information. This enabled us to remove the information quickly and quietly. Do they "die" after you do that? If not, there are certain problematic skills. As OP mentioned ED. What about brands? Do they jump after popping a shell?
They don't die, they become unfreezed. This means when the monolith's effect wears off the enemies you've untagged will attack.
The shells around them have a certain amount of health to remove before they're tagged.
