can you explain why all features or more have not been set

I am part of a gaming league community founder who relies on these features and have been waiting with 500+ players to flesh out our use of BF like we have with every other game, and it is not possible at this time with the lack of features.

THere are serious players who want to play your game their way weekly and daily putting hours and hours into it and enjoying what you have created but the lack of user friendly features and disregard of our user base has left us stranded.

I genuinely would like to understand

The Community Broadcast explains we had to rescope. Especially after the issues we encountered this summer.

Thanks for the reply, Phil. CMs don't decide the direction of the game. We share feedback and the Devs make decisions and implement them.

Have a good day!

Let me be clear, when i said "You dont give a flying f...." i definitely wasn't talking about you or Adam. I know you guys put in a lot of hours and wouldn't be doing this job if you didnt love the battlefield franchise as much as you do, and we all appreciate that. Same goes for all the devs. But i was talking about the people making the decisions at DICE. Doing the opposite of what the community wants. Spending time and recources on absolutely ridiculous ideas(wich are fine as long it doesnt affect the base game) and ignoring the few changes you have to make to massively improve the players experience. a small and logical change in priorities would turn this title all around, and i feel like an idiot for repeating what everybody has been saying here for a couple of months so im gonna stop.

But i do apologize for the rudeness of my comment, i should have waited a couple of minutes before posting so i could've changed it. So again im sorry for that. And about the meme's... ...

Fair enough.
Thanks for reading my big ol' reply and have a great day.

Is there any chance we could have something like this considered for a fair middle ground for ToW progression in community games? I think it would be a fair compromise for the many players such as myself that mostly want to utilise custom games for custom map rotation/game mode rotation.

If boosting ToW progression is the main concern for not allowing ToW progression in community servers then it would be a non-issue if the servers in question are running default settings and the only allowed changes that will keep such servers eligible are custom map/mode rotation.

Hope we can get this looked into. Cheers.

I can't talk about it yet, but Adam and I are pusshing on full progression for any server. What kind of compromise we end up with remains to be seen, but we know where y'all want it to be.

Yeah it got pretty bad. I even sent him some words of encouragement. I mean i'm not intertwined with social media, just here really, and an older person, but i blow my stack as well. So i have to give them credit. They have the patience of a saint as compared to me lol.

And it was very much appreciated, my brother.

We don't deserve you, I just wish that the decisions reflected the community vision a bit more. I'm grateful for the whole move towards making it more sandbox-y, as the community has been asking for for a while, but the whole TTK debacle was so heavily disliked by the community even before it released, and now that we've all tried it, opinions have only gotten worse. I know that decisions aren't always clear, and they'll always split the community in some way, but this topic seems pretty unanimous amongst all social medias I've browsed. Thanks anyway for your effort and care, though, because it's nice to know that you guys are just as passionate as we are.

I didn’t get my Battlefield tattoo covering my entire forearm for giggles. I love this franchise and community.

Not as much as Confluence though, but still.

We work with both JIRA and Confluence. So I punch myself in the face daily. ;)

Super frustrating. The team has a couple JIRAs and the QA folks are looking into how we can fix it ASAP.

Hi.
I figured I'd pop in and correct some things.

Let's begin:

Braddock told us Custom Games would track ToW progress,

That's what I was told at the time and the information I relayed was accurate at that time. (And fun fact: It's something I'm pushing for internally because I also think it should track progress. As soon as we have any new information from the team, we'll be sharing it.)

he told us skins that we earned would not be for sale (Pit Crew)

I don't recall that, and if I did, my apologies. I've done my best to be as transparent as I can be (and the information I'm given allows me to be) regarding customization.
Question though: If you were able to earn it and not pay for it (with CC or BOINS), but now people have to, what's the harm against you? I'm not being sassy. I legit am curious what the actual issue is.

The guy promised Firestorm players ...

Yep. That list of features that aren't in the initial offering are coming.

Using those mutators/features will allow you to create your own version of Hardcore. (And sharing those settings/ideas across the community can create a community standard.)

That makes things even worse if you ask me.. or did you do it for the memes? (5.2)

You are the only "voice" we have because its pretty clear our feedback is flushed down the toilet and you(DICE) doesnt give a flying f**k about us no more. When you look at that awesome tattoo on your arm, and then you take a look at the state of the game, and the state of DICE and how you(DICE) treat the community thats been supporting you trough all these years can you still look in the mirror and tell yourself your doing eveything you can as a community manager? I dont want to disrespect you, and i appreciate everything you do and i have no idea about the things you do inside the company, but at this moment you're nomore than a messenger who delivers the bad news. Maybe your really raising concerns inside DICE but it definitely doesnt feel like that to me. It feels like all you do is say: "hey the community doesnt like this and this, btw check this funny meme" and if thats the case (i hope...

Well, thanks for that post. I appreciate that your intentions weren't to be rude or disrespectful, sorta wish your post was the same. (Yeah, telling us we don't do our job, saying we don't give a flying f ... that's pretty much the opposite of "not being rude and disrespectful".)

Now, to address some parts of your comment.

It feels like all you do is say: "hey the community doesnt like this and this, btw check this funny meme"

Yeah, that's wholly incorrect. When something like, say, lack of Chapter XP/TOW progression frustration comes up, as we knew it would, I take time to write a report to the stakeholders (Devs, Lead Producers, etc.) to lay out the communities feedback, often with direct links and quotes, plus social analytical data.

Now, re: the memes. We're gamers (all of us that work on Battlefield) and we do have a sense of humor. It's okay to laugh at mistakes you make. And the community has made some...

I can’t see any other players experiencing this issue especially considering that my CC was actually fixed after the bug in January.

PM me any case numbers you have from when you contacted EA Help. I'll have someone look into it.

Is this possible or is it going to be paid currency only? This is like the 8th time I have asked this, I just want a simple answer.

I don't know yet. I need to get an answer on the Armory rotation and the contents of the bundle issues as well.

The fact they come on here and dont address the feedback is hilarious.

The feedback is pretty obvious and pretty much the same - and I'm not going to respond to insults, abuse, threats, profanity-laden posts.
And unless I have something from the Dev team to tell you, "addressing the feedback" will be "Thanks, have shared this with the team" because that's all I can do right now.

So... rather not waste your time or mine copy-pastaing the same thing over and over (since people are posting the same thing over and over).

Glad you got a laugh out of it, though. Have a good weekend.
