VIP is somewhat misleading. Essentially it means that only developers with certain roles on their accounts can log into TQ. Typically QA or developers who have deployed features so they can jump onto the server and check things look okay before giving players and the other devs access.

We’re investigating reports that players are being disconnected and then unable to log into Tranquility.

Update 01:14 UTC - ESI has been enabled again.

Update 00:42 Tranquility is now open and accessible for players. A sincere thanks from all the developers for your patience. We will be monitoring Tranquility and its services closely.

Update 00:37 VIP is being lifted. TQ will be open and accessible.

Update 22:20 - We do not expect that Tranquility will be accessible for at least the next couple of hours, most likely longer. Our Ops team are exploring all possibilities as to the cause of the outage.

Appreciate you re-posting the message. We try and give as much information as we can and manage expectations. It would be disingenuous to post information that is untrue or raise expectations only for them to be dashed. We’re as honest as we can be, even if that means we have very little information to provide.

Yesterday, we introduced the Foundation Day pack featuring the Wisdom of Gheinok booster. After listening to community feedback and consulting the CSM, we agree that the booster’s exclusivity tipped the balance unfavorably. This was not our intention, and we appreciate the passionate feedback we’ve received from you.

Effective immediately, the ‘Wisdom of Gheinok’ booster has been removed from the Foundation Day pack (however those who have already purchased the pack will not have the booster removed).

After today, May 24, EVE Anywhere, the service enabling EVE Online to be played in-browser, will be discontinued.
