OP updated to remove references to SSO with today’s update.

I mistakenly reproduced the wrong blog in OP but I have updated it with the correct notification that was originally provided on developers.eveonline.com earlier this month. I have left the reproduction of the other blog underneath.

Today some changes to ESI were deployed, which may have caused some issues with third party applications that were not up to date. Although these changes were announced in a dev blog earlier this month, due to issues with the developers.eveonline.com website rendering blogs inaccessible it may not have been properly communicated to all third party developers and we apologise for this. We have had reports from players for some third party applications failing, so we are reproducing the contents of the blog here for developers:

UPDATE 19:27 UTC - Services should now be working normally again. Any PLEX that was in pending transactions should reappear in players’ vaults.

UPDATE 17:20 UTC - Work on the problem is ongoing.

Some backend issues have occurred on TQ which may have an effect on player-facing services. You may be experiencing issues with ESI, PLEX vaults, activity tracker and skill plans. Our team is looking into the problem now and we will keep you updated here and on the EVE Status Twitter account.

UPDATE 11:25 UTC - Work was completed ahead of schedule and Tranquility is back online and accepting connections! Please enjoy your internet spaceships.

There will be an extended downtime on Thursday 21 October while we conduct some upgrades and testing on our database hardware. Downtime is expected to last until 11:45 UTC however we will be back up sooner if work is completed early.
