Players may be experiencing an issue with the Encounters tab in the Agency not loading correctly. Players can still access the page by clicking on their current Cruiser Chaos challenge on the in-space info panel:
We are working on a resolution so this doesn’t reoccur in future events.
UPDATE 11:15 UTC: Tranquility is online and accepting connections.
There will be an extended downtime on Tuesday, March 22 while we conduct some routine tests on Tranquility before bringing the cluster back online. We anticipate work will be completed no later than 11:30 UTC and TQ will be back online earlier if work is completed ahead of schedule.
We don’t anticipate any side effects or other issues like we experienced last week.
Updates will be posted here and on the EVE Status Twitter account.
UPDATE: 11:40 - Tranquility is back online and accepting connections. Due to the issues encountered during startup we are not proceeding with today’s experiment. The information in the post below is no longer relevant.
UPDATE: 11:29 - Tranquility is undergoing an unscheduled restart.
UPDATE 11:17 - Slightly longer than scheduled downtime is occurring - TQ should be back up by 11:25 UTC.
Greetings Capsuleers,
Today 14 March we will be doing an experiment following the startup of TQ after downtime. This involves the way in which the database preloads certain things e.g. solar systems and the market.
You might experience some info message popups when logging in today right after downtime, for example when selecting a character it might say that the solar system or the market is still loading etc. In all cases please just wait a few moments and then try again.
This situation will only be tempora...
Read moreBack in the day before PLEX was broken up, a single PLEX was worth a full month of game time, so the minimum donation back then was the equivalent of 500 PLEX today. Accordingly 200 PLEX is a relatively “small” quantity of PLEX compared to what the minimum used to be.
The reason for the requested minimum is that all the contracts have to be checked and accepted manually, and there are hundreds coming in every day - it’s a big task! Honestly if someone sends even 5 PLEX we wouldn’t reject it - every little bit helps and we appreciate people giving whatever they’re able. The 200 PLEX minimum request is just to try and strike a balance between donation size and admin overhead.
So if you don’t have 200 PLEX and still want to give you can, or you can get together with some spacefriends and pass the hat around first.
Hi everyone,
In today’s news item we talk about the new mining adventure which has landed on Singularity. It extends the storyline established in the new player experience which released last September and delves further into the mystery surrounding the attack of the AIR station.
Why not jump on Singularity, spin up a new character and try it out for yourselves? We’d love to hear your impressions and any feedback you may have.
In the Victors and Spoils news item we announced a promotional raffle for every player who connected their accounts to the official CONCORD Killmail site.
It is now the first second week of January February and the winners from that event have been drawn!
We are happy to announce the following raffle winners:
There will be an extended downtime on Thursday, 3 February while we conduct some routine database testing.
It will be a short extension and we expect Tranquility to be back up and accepting connections by 11:30 UTC. Updates here on the on the EVE Status Twitter account.
UPDATE 13:00 UTC: Tranquility is online and accepting connections.
UPDATE 12:58 UTC: Tranquility is temporarily in private mode while we confirm that the restart has corrected the chat and search issues.
UPDATE 12:46 UTC: Tranquility is now offline and the restart process is underway.
Tranquility will be undergoing an unscheduled restart to address issues with some chat and search functions the cluster is currently experiencing. The restart will take place at 12:45 UTC.

Update: 13:20 UTC: Tranquility is now back online and accepting connections.
Update 12:55 UTC: Restart procedures are underway. We will be taking some extra time to monitor the cluster’s health before we open the doors. We are aiming to have TQ open to players by 13:20 UTC.
Tranquility has been experiencing some stability issues following today’s downtime.
An unscheduled restart of Tranquility is being performed at 12:40 UTC to attempt to rectify the issue.
