Once we reach a point where players feel that they have enough options, we will stop creating new ones. We don’t know what that final number is, but what we do know is that we want all players to be able to find a playstyle for them.

Here's the thing: that number is infinity because players will always want more omnicells to play around with. You're never going to get enough to satisfy everyone because the playerbase will continually expect you to deliver more content. I feel like maybe you should plan around never being truly "finished" with this any more than you'll ever be "finished" adding behemoths, or weapons, or lanterns, which you should totally start expanding on now that they're much simpler in scope btw.

Yeah, we're not sure what that number is, but we'll see! I don't think we can make them FOREVER, but we definitely want a bunch of diverse ones to choose from.

Right now, Iceborne is the most commonly equipped omnicell. Discipline and Bastion are tied for second. We want to balance these to ensure a more even split across the board.

I disagree that there should be a balance. Mediocre players will always be the majority, fewer good players, then a small elite.

This means most players should be choosing survivability because your DPS is zero if you're dead. So how can you balance that?

Reducing the survivability provided by iceborne is only going to result in more dead bodies, encouraging player base segregation as the good and elite players isolate themselves in private hunts.

Improving the DPS of bastion and discipline to make them more tempting will only increase the DPS gap between skill tiers, encouraging player base segregation as the good and elite players isolate themselves in private hunts.

Nerfing behemoths or buffing slayers overall would only trivialise content f...

You make good points! I think we're trying to close the gap, but not flatten the pick rate entirely. There will always be omnicells that are made for higher skilled players who can use them effectively (and safe picks for players who need to take more hits).

The main mastery card will carry over, but the individual part ones will not (since they're not longer in the game).

Hope that makes sense!

We're working on cloth physics right now across the entire game. The entire workflow and pipeline are being looked at right now. We want to fix all of this across all of Dauntless.

Thanks for the heads up! Gone ahead and logged a bug!

I believe this was fixed in 1.7.1. If that isn't the case, let me know!

EDIT: The helmet rumour is not out. The breastplate had a bug in the quest requirements BUT it was fixed.

Every Behemoth is a little different. There's no one size fits all and things have changed.

Depending on when and how a Behemoth was designed, a sever can occasionally disable/change its moves, but not for every single one. A lot of the time, severing too far up the tail would make a ton of moves useless, mess up the silhouette.

It's pretty case by case at this point.

Thank you so much for the kind words. Made me feel warm and fuzzy while I drank my morning coffee.

We've done a lot in the recent years and we still have a lot to do!

So. I’ve not played since… I think the fire monkey thing was teased and going to be added. And I came back today to see all my materials and parts were gone.

Has the crafting system just totally changed?

Certain crafting components are different now, but we compensated players during the transition. You should still have a bunch of stuff to help you in the new progression system.

It takes less than 11hrs to max out the huntpass casually. the reward cache doesnt offer much for people to want to stick around and get every little things because honestly they are eye sores minus the handful that are okay.

Even the big name content creators dont play it much after the new huntpass drops because they dont really need to, there is so little offered from each huntpass, all they can really do is talk about the patch notes and a couple builds with click bait titles.

Even a lot of the new employees on their website ( https://phxlabs.ca/ ) dont even have gamer tags so safe to assume those new people employed dont even know what the actual f**k is going on with their game. Also i feel they shot themselves in the big toe when they decided to use...

Awe, thanks!. There is actually a lot of positivity in our community. Yes, there is a general ebb and flow to criticism, and we're doing our best to read it all. This thread has a lot of great thoughts that I'll be passing on to the team.
