  • All weapons that are purchased or awarded to players will now be 100% clean, including weapons that come with recruited Hunters. Only weapons found in a mission will remain dirty.
  • Reduced the price of the Krag Sniper to $579 (previously $610)

Below are the bugfixes that have applied with this update.



  • Fixed a bug that caused a delay when resupplying tools and ammo.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed damage to teammates to contribute to the damage tracked in a Summons.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed damage to a dead enemy hunter to contribute to the damage tracked in a Summons.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the mission timer to not update correctly when both bounties have already extracted from the mission.
  • Fixed a bug for controllers that caused the weapon wheel to become unresponsive when switching between items in the inventory.

This update includes some bug fixes and some balance changes to the new weapons.




Gunplay
Caldwell 92
  • Reduced the Muzzle Velocity from 270 m/s to 230 m/s.
  • This also reduces the velocity of the custom ammo options for this weapon (FMJ and Dumdum now at 200 m/s)
  • Reduced the extra ammo from 18 to 12.

  • Reduced the extra ammo count from 9 to 6 (Basic and Slug)

Hunters,

1.8 will primarily be a service focused update. With this, we are introducing some tentative client and server performance fixes in the hope of alleviating some of the performance issues that have been encountered since Update 1.7.

We know there is a chance these will not be the magic bullet to resolve all performance related problems but we are hoping it is a step in the right direction.

This test phase is very important for us as we need to ensure these improvements do help, and not cause further problems before we bring this update to the live servers.

This update will also include a number of changes and improvements across all maps, new tier 2 weapon lobby animations, changes to Cain and how he blends with the environment as well as some fixes to the first person view of certain hunter... Read more

Reconnect Support
Update 1.7 brings with it the introduction of the Reconnect feature – the ability to reconnect to a Bounty Hunt mission in cases where your connection has been lost or the game has crashed. There are two ways in which this will attempt to restore the connection:

Below are the notes for Update 1.6.

Please be aware, Update 1.6 is going to require a full client download for both the test and live servers. While we understand that a full download can be frustrating ,it is necessary in this instance.

Over the last few months, we have been working on improving many different aspects of Hunt, one of those being a focus on improving our security and internal anti-cheat measures. We have made some changes to the encryption of the pak files in Hunt, and these important changes are the reason why a full client download is required for everyone.   • Hunters will now make noise when damaged by poison effects such as clouds (poison bolts etc) and the Hive swarms.

  • “Doctor Grunts” will now drop unusable medkits if they are damaged by explosives or fire. This is to bring it more in line with Scrapbeak (explosive custom ammo has been excluded and will not cause this effect).

We will be performing two updates to the test server this weekend. Patch #3 is now live and the test servers are back online.

Tomorrow,(Saturday March 6th) we will release Patch #4 at around 13:00 CET, so please be aware that some down time is to be expected.

We have made a number of adjustments to the stats displayed on the store page. Many of these were not showing the correct details so this patch now gives an accurate represntation of how it will appear on the Live servers.

Reduced the amount of extra ammo that single shot weapons can carry:
  • Martini Henry now has a capacity of 20.
  • Springfield now has a capacity of 24.
  • Spark now has a capacity of 16.

Changes made to the damage falloff for Slug rounds:
  • Slugs will perform a OHK at 15m with a headshot and 10m to the upper chest for all shotgun variants.
  • Larger variants will now perform a OHK with a headshot at 25m.

The feedback you have all been giving us so far is really awesome. I have gone through a lot of the threads already created and we have been able to gather some really useful feedback, so thank you all for taking the time to test out the ammo and give us your thoughts.

In order to be able to get a quick overview of as much of the feedback as possible, I wanted to test out having this sticky thread so that we can make it a lot easier to gather the relevent feedback. Below are the notes for Patch #1 of Update 1.5.

Please note that with this update we are restoring the copy of the profiles from the live servers. Here are some extra details you should be aware of:

  • Available server are EU, US East and OCE. (OCE has limited sessions so you may encounter "all servers are occupied".)
  • Quickplay is not available.
  • All relevant items are automatically unlocked to test as long as you have a high enough rank.
  • All players have 50,000 Hunt dollars and 5000 Bloodbonds.
  • All players that are above or equal to prestige 1 are set to Rank 100. The players not prestige yet remain at their current rank.
