Hello! Your screenshot shows 0% progress on the current drop campaign. You’ll need to watch 4 hours of content from a partnered Twitch Content Creator. If you have already watched content, it’s possible you didn’t watch a qualifying stream with drops enabled.

As you gain progress, Twitch will update your progress in real-time at at 100% you will have to “claim” the completed drop in order to redeem it automatically in the game. If you have further issues with your drop progress, you’ll instead need to reach out to Twitch Support instead.

Please keep in mind that New World does not currently support Steam Deck. Compatibility issues may arise from time to time. There may be some known workarounds that may be worked through, but again, results may vary.

I do sympathize though! I’m missing the same drop on my own personal play account. Forgot to “redeem” it after doing the legwork of watching some content creators. And it’s such a sweet visual!

Apologies on the initial release note statement, it wasn’t clear. We’ve since updated it as follows:

• First house purchase is now a flat 5000 coins discount. Tier 1 and tier 2 houses now unlock at Level 1 territory standing (previously territory standing 10 and 15).

Yeah, not a 50% discount but 5k coins is still a significant savings.

The event made some older event items re-obtainable. Those tags are when they were first introduced, not when they were “generated” – so purchases or crafting of older event recipes will still generate Winter Convergence 2021 items. Likewise, brand new rewards/recipes that were introduced in 2022 will show an updated tag.

New World does not offer native in-game video recording for players. This behavior is going to be caused by a 3rd party application. Either Windows Game Bar as others called out, Nvidia ShadowPlay, or another application. It’s likely you activated a shortcut at some point which started recording from then on.

Alright folks, this thread isn’t heading anywhere productive.

While we all understand the need to clamp down on some activities to help curb shell companies, there was an edge case with the new logic and it’s in everyone’s favor to have advance warning. We’ve done that now, and have reverted the war cooldowns for the time being to allow companies to fix themselves quickly before we restore the elongated cooldowns. No need to be rude here.

Locking the thread as there’s not much else to say on the topic – whether or not folks got impacted in the middle of preparing a shell company. They won’t be able to bounce around easily anymore in the immediate future.

We have found a high reproduction client crash introduced with the latest update. While I can’t say for certain if your issue is what’s in question, it’s highly likely. We’re working on a hotfix to address this new crash bug. Look for news on this within the next day or so!

Your friend has outdated information. We did not merge Fresh Start worlds into Legacy. Last week we communicated intent to do so, but quickly paused that effort based on player feedback. Please keep an eye out this week for additional details on the future of these former Return to Aeternum worlds.

Hello! Details regarding new transfer cooldowns and war cooldowns can be found in the spotlight section of the patch notes under the “SHELL COMPANY MITIGATION” section, which were shared earlier. That said, I do understand the frustration that the new logic seems to be retroactive and the messaging hadn’t called that out (nor was it mentioned prior).

Hello! A return of this item is not on the immediate schedule, but it’s possible it could return one day. We do try to keep promotional items as a special “chase” reward though, which rewards players for participating and encourages others to keep informed on game activities.
