Hey, we do have plans to add accessibility options to reduce all of the effects. We have a long list for this that we want to do however it is not a priority for us at the moment unfortunately.

A question i have to you, is that im through the ShadowPC app in the Oculus, do you think it makes a difference if i do it via Virtual Desktop from the Oculus Store?

I don't know anything about ShadowPC but a lot of people use Virtual Deskstop and it works fine.

I would really like your input on this with the issue of the hands, based on your 2 answers here:

1) I have reset the controllers bindings in SteamVR, to set them as default and nothing.
2) I have changed the OpenXR to Oculus (it was on SteamVR), and now on the game...

Set your Oculus OpenXR runtime to Oculus. You can do this in the Oculus software.

Hey, make sure your OpenXR runtime is set to Windows Mixed Reality.

Open "OpenXR Developer Tools for Windows Mixed Reality", you might have to download this from the Microsoft Store. On there you can set the active runtime.

Hey, the calibration is just for your multiplayer character height. If you can't reach the floor it's an issue with your play space.

Hey, we'll look into this today. Are there any other controller issues with Vive Cosmos?

but on english voice recognition everything still works, maybe russian language is broken

The current voice recognition doesn't actually support Russian properly, we are working on adding a new voice recognition system in that requires no set up and will support many languages including Russian.

Hey, just to make sure. Are you grabbing the walkie talkie on your shoulder? It's a physical object now so you have to grab it.

The double grab bug will be fixed in a patch later today.

Any chance we will get refreshed design on how the hands interact with the world and such in the future? As in the hands being separate from the items even when you grab them instead of being hard coded into switching into another state when you grab an item. Also bein...

Hey everyone,

I wanted to make this post to help everyone having issues with Virtual Desktop since the VR Overhaul update.

Virtual Desktop only supports SteamVR which is something we didn't know about until after the update. Phasmophobia now uses OpenXR which is not supported by Virtual Desktop.

This means the only way to get this working is to go into your SteamVR developer settings and set the OpenXR runtime to SteamVR. This is something we do not recommend at all as using the SteamVR OpenXR runtime with an Oculus or Windows VR headset will cause extreme lag so you must instead use Air Link.

Unfortunately there is no other way around this. Please contact the Virtual Desktop developers for a solution to OpenXR and non SteamVR headsets.

Thanks,
DK
