Hey, excluding anyone wasn't our intention. We wanted it to be on Nightmare so it's not present in every game. You can also avoid it on Nightmare by using a custom difficulty preset.

The candy and jack o lanterns give 5 sanity each so you should be able to avoid any hunts until you need that ghost photo. You don't need to complete any objectives to get the trophy, as soon as you take that ghost photo it is complete.

Hey please join our discord and message our modmail bot asking for a save file. Your save file is corrupt and you need a new one. Being in a constant loop is a sign of another problem so we can also help you fix that there.

Hey, we are still working on VR. There will be an update later today to fix the FPS and memory leak issues. If we get time we will fix this torch in the same update but it is a known bug.

Unfortunately not, it is due to your save file being corrupt which is usually caused by a crash. The only other way is to wipe your save file back to nothing, doing this will cause you to lose all progress. Go into the "AppData\LocalLow\Kinetic Games\Phasmophobia" folder and delete the es3 save file to do this.

Hey, this will be in the custom difficulty update. You will be able to add them as friends, open their profiles and report them with a "recent players" page in the Journal.

Hey, this is a known issue and we are trying to find the route cause. Can you please either DM me here on Reddit or on Discord and we can try and find what the issue is.

We get it, the photo camera is just as buggy as before. But this is all I ever see on my front page anymore! Can we do something about this?

Hey, this is almost completely fixed for the custom update although there will still be the occasional ghost photo not registering. We've made a lot of changes to the rewards as well so if it does somehow give the wrong photo it won't matter in terms of rewards.

Hey, there is a Unity bug with the VR UI controls at the moment causing several issues. This is fixed in the custom difficulty update.

Game does not use my mic

Hey, what microphone or other microphone equipment do you use? There is a known bug where Unity can't access Microphones with a high amount of channels. We have a potential fix but I'm not sure when it will be done.
