Seeing as this is such a recent issue, do restart your PC and router, and have a look to see if your ISP has reported any recent instability.

Annoyingly, I still can’t see much of a reason for the crash. It’s very much a shot in the dark.

Failing that, as this is understandably an inconvenience, I’m happy to contact Steam and request that they process a refund for you should you rather take that option.

Same crash and all, we’ll have it resolved in our next patch.

Possibly mod-related but not sure, so added to the database to be on the safe side! Thank you as always.

Could you try a ‘Selective Startup’ and see if the issue persists, please?:

1. Press the Windows key
2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
5. Reboot your PC
6. Launch Vermintide 2 as normal, and see if the issue persists

Sorry for the delay Maoulkavien, having problems with this one admittedly. The logs don’t shed much light on the underlying cause.

Have you had any other problems with overheating since then?

We’re having a chat about this one internally, admittedly it’s not an error we see often. Sorry for the inconvenience @varknar!

These are predominantly “Deadlock” crashes which are, sadly, notoriously hard to pin down. I’ll have to add this to our database for investigation, but I’d rather be honest in that it may take some time before it’s looked at. Otherwise, I’m happy to contact Steam and request that they issue you a refund?
