Sorry about this, we’re on the case and have a hotfix coming your way very soon!
As this started very suddenly, please try restarting your PC and let us know if it reoccurs.
It’s on our radar - apologies for the inconvenience.
You can reduce your resolution to 1080p as a workaround.
Sorry to hear that. We’re patching on PS4 soon and I’m hopeful you’ll see an improvement in the rate of your errors then.
The Skulltaker was only made available during the ‘Skulls for the Skull Throne’ event a couple months back which was only on PC and Xbox, so that’s odd! Would you mind PMing me your PSN ID?
Simply re-launching can usually solve this, is that not the case for you?
Sorry about this, we’re having problems solving this particular crash but the developer handling it has received a lot of new information so I’m hoping it’ll be included in our next patch.
Sorry about the delayed response and auto-lock!
Both of our Backend Engineers have had a look at your account’s event and inventory history and can’t see anything blatantly untoward - everything seems to add up with no evidence of items having been suddenly revoked, etc.
In addition, the account’s statistics also seem to add-up in relation to the 8.2 hours played on record.
Could you have played Vermintide 2 on another Steam account perhaps?
Sorry @Vagrant I’m reopening your post and chasing this up!

Yes, delete
…Failing that, see if a ‘Selective Startup’ changes anything:
This is most definitely isolated to Easy Anti-Cheat, seeing as the ‘Modded’ realm works. I understand you’ve already tried repairing Easy Anti-Cheat, but could you please:
Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
Select ‘Properties’
Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button
When complete, close and reopen Steam
This is likely the result of excessive packet (data) loss. The lost packets attempt to resend, consequently clogging up the buffer - which can be described as a chunk of memory that stores packets in cases where the physical medium of the network interface cannot handle the volume data being received. The buffer overflow (also known as ‘buffer overrun’) then causes the internet to disconnect entirely.
This occurs as the result of an instability with the router or network. Unfortunately we’re not able to help with this from our end meaning you’ll need to contact your ISP. When contacting your ISP, please reference our server address which may help in identifying the underlying issue: https://5107.playfabapi.com/
Does your internet disconnect entirely (lose connection to everything) or do you only lose connection in Vermintide 2?
Thank you @Harridas, looking in to it!
Thank you @Romucha, I’ve added this to our database for investigation!
Thank you for a perfectly clear and concise report! We’ll look in to it.
I’ll chase it up in the morning, I know our developers have had an exceptionally bad time with this one.
This appears to be a GPU-related crash, which can usually be solved with a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers. That and more solutions can be seen here: [PC] How to Resolve GPU Crashes – Fatshark
Thank you very much, we’re looking in to it!
