Unfortunately, it looks like these items may have been purchased outside of our 30-day refund window.

Our developers are looking in to this. Apologies for the inconvenience.

I’ve had some very bad news. Whilst our Backend Engineers are addressing my (lack of) ability to restore weapons, unfortunately, once the issue is resolved, we won’t be able to restore weapons deleted prior due to the nature of the issue. This is very disappointing, and I apologise for the outcome.

Got it. Please run through the steps below:

NOTE: If Steam Cloud saving is enabled for Darktide, this may automatically restore the AppData and consequently cause the error to resurface. You can disable Steam Cloud Saving for Darktide via the Steam client by:

  1. Navigate to your Steam library
  2. Right-click Darktide
  3. Select ‘Properties’
  4. On the ‘General’ tab, scroll down to ‘Steam Cloud’
  5. Disable ‘Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’

NOTE: This will reset any custom keybindings.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory

You will then need to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option, which is accessible via the Steam client and will ensure the installation is complete.

I’ve raised this with our developers! Thanks for letting us know.

Hello! Could you show me which items you have in your store at current? Just a simple screenshot will do.

Hello! Usually, this wouldn’t be a problem, but there is a sudden issue in our backend which makes item restoration unavailable to me right now!

I’ve raised this with our Backend Engineers, and as soon as this issue is solved, I will see to this.

I’m marking this post as need-more-info so I know to return to it.

Comment

This should be addressed in our latest hotfix, unpinning.

Comment

This should now be resolved with our latest hotfix. Let me know if you have any trouble.

Make a backup of both directories (Steam Cloud data + Darktide AppData) as it’s my understanding they work in unison!

There are undeniable improvements we need to make in the realm of reporting, I wholeheartedly agree that you should be able to make reports In-Game, along with other mechanisms to prevent missions being held hostage.

I’ll have to redact the names here, but in the mean time, I recommend submitting a report over in our Support Portal and our moderator Alan will see to it.

I didn’t actually know this, but luckily our developers did, and it will be resolved for all!

I recall another player having a very similar issue a while back. I’ve looked up their case, and this is the steps they performed to resolve the issue, which I hope will be useful to you:

  • Delete the cloud save data from files (and recycle bin)
  • Delete my AppData
  • Disabled Steam Cloud data
  • Close and reopen steam
  • Launch darktide and load the character with the issue
  • Then when in the Mourningstar i tabbed out and re enabled steam cloud services
  • I then tabbed back into the game and quit via the menu
  • Closed and reopened steam and launched Darktide

From my experience, this issue normally seems to resolve on its own. Is this still occurring for you today?

We are looking in to these errors as a priority, apologies for the inconvenience.

You could try deleting Darktide’s data in the Steam Cloud directory!
