Vermintide 2 does seem to be especially susceptible to this issue, so I’m open to the idea that it could be a problem on our end - I’m certainly not ruling it out. I’ll leave that to our brainy developers to decide on though!
I’m equally disheartened that none of the solutions you’ve attempted have worked for you and I apologise that we’re not able to offer more help right now. It really is a case of simply not knowing enough about it.
Looks like your GPU has crashed in one of the logs, in the other, I’m not quite sure admittedly. Do try performing a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers using the instructions here. If the crashes persist, please continue to send me your most recent crash reports.
I appreciate my response isn’t much help now the event is over but in order to claim the reward for the ‘Triumphant Soul’ quest, the Weekly Event had to be completed via the Mission Table.
@isaiah80630 Could you try lowering your ‘Worker Thread’ count within the launcher down to 6, and let me know whether you see an improvement?
@JigSawPT I haven’t seen this particular crash before, so I’ve raised it with development who will be able to look in to it. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Very unfortunate, I can see it’s chucking up another data corruption error. I don’t suppose you’re able to install on to another drive?
We can also reach out to Steam on your behalf and request that they refund you if that’s an option you wished to take, but I appreciate that isn’t the ideal outcome.
I’ll have a chat with development in the morning to see if anybody has any new ideas. I’ll be sure to let you know if we uncover any other leads.
You don’t need to worry about being considered a cheater by Easy Anti-Cheat, it’s simply chucking up errors as it sees the installation as incomplete - it’s no more than an inconvenience. You can re-enable the Steam and NVIDIA overlay and as long as there’s no cheats running whilst Vermintide 2 is active, you won’t have any problems.
If both of you could share your location and the name of your ISP, that would be super.
I can’t see any indication that this would be mod-related. I’d recommend that you run through our solutions for Access Violations here.
Unfortunately it’s very hard to determine what could be causing this as this is a particularly mysterious problem which we’re still in the process of learning about. In most cases it’s a result of mismatched RAM speeds which I appreciate isn’t the case for you. The solutions we’ve listed here are based on other players experiences.
I’ve recently spoken to a player who learnt their issue was a result of an unstable RAM overclock, so that’s something worth considering, and another player with MSI Afterburner had to re-scan their overclocks.

Is this still an issue for you after the latest patch @TobaisGeofell?
Could you upload one of your most recent console logs please? Your console logs can be located using the instructions below:
Are you able to CTRL + ALT + DEL when this occurs?
Admittedly we’re not sure what could be causing your PC to lose responsiveness like this. Perhaps have a look in the Windows Event Viewer (under ‘Windows Logs’ > 'System) to see if there’s any useful errors there.
I see one Deadlock and one Access Violation - the Access Violation could be a result of your PC being below the minimum requirements, or your GPU drivers which date back to 2017 I believe. Before anything I’d recommend that you perform a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers using the instructions here.
Sorry to hear this, would you mind sharing what the error code is?
PSN was having a hiccup around the time of your comments, which I believe may have been the culprit. Is this still occurring?
I’ve snipped your report to prevent others exploiting it. Thank you for letting us know!
