As you may have heard, this December 19th, the various WoWS offices around the world are working together to host a 24 hour stream to raise funds for the Save the Children foundation. This is a great opportunity for the staff and player base to come together and give back to the world during the holiday season. The full article on the event can be found here.

For this initiative, we will be using the platform to gather your donations. Since many of you may not be familiar with this platform and how it works here is a short guide:

First: Decide if you want to donate:

All money will go directly to the Save the Children foundation and does not pass through Wargaming or World of Warships in any capacity. This should be your primary motivation for donating, to support this cause.

Items do have limited quantities therefore you will have to be quick to select and donate for a reward before they are all taken

The items will no longer appear as available once they have been purchased. There is no "claim on the stream" part. By donating and claiming the reward, that will secure you the prize. Since there is limited quantities, you have to be quick in this regard, but you do not have to go to the stream and claim it. The donation and reward claim is noted on tiltify's side and then after the stream the teams will issue the prizing to the appropriate accounts.

I would strongly advise staying away from this negative chatter towards another player. While it may make you feel slightly better in the moment, it will only result in moderation action taken against you.

If you are frustrated by another player, for whatever reason, take it out on the red, not the chat.

Ultimately, what you want from the game, is up for you to take.

While the holiday is the more jam-packed time of content for us, it is because we do see higher levels of players, as well as higher levels of engagement from players. Considering a large portion of the player base has been in the game for a while, we need to ensure there is content and goals for them to achieve is they choose to. We do encourage all players to engage with the content that is most interesting to them, whether it be co-op, to randoms, to ranked. We try to ensure there are content offerings for all players.

While yes, engaging with events and campaigns will reward you with rewards (funny how that works lol) please recall these content aspects are not critical to enjoying or doing well in the game.
