There will always be elements in the game or with promotions that will bother parts of the community. Some things will be bigger than others - and thats okay.

Regardless of the next issue or matter, so long as ya'll remain constructive and civil with us, we'll endeavor to work through the matter and get it squared away.

While I can't add much on whether we will make any changes to the current offering/promotion of the Dockyard I would like to mention some points:

We will be making the PR available through some means (no idea what yet), at some time in the future.

We definitely made some missteps in the way this event was communicated and promoted - we will endeavor to avoid this again going forward.

We appreciate the community being honest with their opinions and thoughts with us. You were harsh, but you were constructive. Majority of you also remained civil which also helps.

While this event did involve some missteps, it was never intended to mislead or misrepresent information to the community. That holds no benefit to us in any form, and only builds distrust.

I can't say we'll ever get it 100% correct, but we will endeavor to learn and grow from this and other events going forward - getting it as clos...

Fixed this ;)

Its with how our scheduler works.

We bump this information weekly to help with visibility issues we've had in the past.

With the winter/holiday patch usually being bigger in nature in terms of offerings, there is less variation and additions to the weekly missions.

With us moving into the new year and a somewhat smaller patch, you'll see more additional events shown in the weekly mission briefs.

We're still working on their development, we have not stated a final date for release or next round of testing yet. We'd much rather the development be directed by what needs to happen than meeting set deadlines in this case.

We do intend to have at least one more testing round but exact dates unknown at the moment. We will need some time to look at the feedback and data from round 3 first.

Captains,

While we all have our opinions about recent events and communications from members of WG staff. The forums is not a place to go after individuals, staff or player alike.

I would encourage you to act with both the forum rules, and common human decency in mind. As such, this topic and further on this matter will be closed for discussion.

At this time, we have stated that we will not be directly nerfing ships. Sub_Octavian, the Executive Producer of Ships, has stated this clearly as found:

We have no reason to change this stance.

Comment

Buffs are alright, if a ship needs help, it needs help. But in terms of nerfs, we won't be doing those to individual premium ships.

I understand, we do however try to learn from mistakes. When Chieftain made that statement, the game was in a vastly different state of development. At that time, we did not foresee the class to join the game. Ultimately the game, community, and its development has come a long way and recently realized that maybe there is a place in the game for them afterall. We are being very cautious in our approach to them thus the extended testing and slow implementation phasing.

Unfortunately I can't give you exact figures, but right now at least for the short term priority is placed more on PVP modes and expansions than PVE as that is what serves the majority of the playerbase, at least for now.

We are still monitoring PVE and working on tweaks and improvements as well as slowly bringing back the discontinued operations, just no plans on new content currently.

We have previously stated we will not be touching the individual characteristics of a premium ship even if determined as OP. This decision was made following our attempted changes to the GC last year.

Premium ships however are still liable to be changed when game wide mechanic changes are made such as the AA and smoke reworks.

If they are currently active, unfortunately not.

However, if you have a friend who has not played for 90 days or more, you can invite them back and they can become your shipmate that way.

If you're going to tag, please tag with a little more context :P - Also, Radar is no longer with WG NA.

Co-op is a completely different beast than randoms, we do not want to make it like a mini-randoms, because randoms are not for everyone. Part of this difference is why the achievements are suitable for co-op at the moment, they would be considerably easier to receive and thus easy to farm for rewards/etc. Whether we release a achievement mechanic for co-op in the future, who knows. I know our priority isn't on expanding co-op too much at the moment since it serves a small minority of the player base.

Heyo everyone!

All prizing beside flags should have gone out today, flags are currently in the line to be credited.

I also dropped off all physical prizing coming from the NA office to the post office this afternoon, depending where its heading it may take a few days (with US) or longer (International) to arrive.

If you have not received your prizing please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

Heyo Everyone.

I put out a PSA about this matter the other day -

We're also currently now processing all rewards for NA players and they should be completed in the next day or so.

Heyo Captains,

We hope you're having a lovely holiday season.

We've had quite a few people curious about the rewards coming from the Holiday Charity drive we ran before the holiday season. We are super sorry for the delay in getting your rewards out to you. There are many reasons for the delay but overall it doesn't matter, what matters is what happens next!

REWARDS LIST for Virtual Prizes:

You will be getting your rewards shortly after the staff return to the NA office for 2020, which occurs on January 2nd. We will endeavor to have all rewards issued ASAP after this date.

For now, we'd like to provide you the WIP confirmed list of rewards for our NA players, this can be found here.

BEFORE YOU PANIC:

If your name is not on the list at the moment, the mean reasons this is was that your username was not provided on the selection of the reward.

However, do no...
