Please close the WGC completely (including from the task bar), and reboot it.

It will restart the download from where it got stuck.

Upon the release of the 0.8.7 patch notes it clearly stated the end date and time for the directives:

This date was clear and intentional, not a mistake by any means.

As other mentioned, many posted updates to and threads in the forum.

I'm sorry you weren't able to gain enough tokens but we were clear on the availability of the directives for this patch.

The good news is, in the future the special French Captain will be available through the Armory for another currency.

Considering this, I would recommend running a WGCheck and submitting that through the support system.

They'll be able to provide more insight into what may be the issue.

We do not currently have a +200% event planned for this year, there is however a load of other events on offer that were not available in previous years.

Just because an event happened in a prior year does not mean it will repeated in a future year.

I have not heard widespread reports of this occurring so it does sound like a more localized issue.

I would suggest a complete reinstall of the game the considering you state it has been this way for awhile.

I would also do a local driver check for your PC and ensure that your drivers are completely up to date.

Currently, there is no plans for multipliers on the first win bonus beyond the standard 50%. Just the special gifts for the first win in each ship for the patch.

While the patch notes are now dropped so that matter is over, hopefully you are all excited for what we have planned this patch for the 4 year celebration.

Following up on a few matters:

Because sometimes things change last minute. We'd much rather use placeholders in the PTS in case of this so we do not set expectations of rewards before they are 100% confirmed (nothing is 100% before it hits live server).

Regarding pinging staff members;

The forums is predominantly staffed by community staff which for NA is Kami and I, with KARMAT1KA stopping by from time to time as well.

Bular and Umbaretz are currently helping out while Kami is away on leave.

Tagging additional to this will usually not result in response as they are not responsible for day-to-day of the forums.
