Different platform, different tools. I've chosen to have more relaxed rules here, since there's a NSFW tag and Reddit is self-moderating to some extent. Discord is way more active, and also target of more scam, bots and spam, and generally needs tighter moderation on some things.
I got banned for spam by sending the same message twice over 2 days and the message was just harold👍
Thing is, so did a bunch of others. There's context to things happening, which might not always be apparent (which sucks, but it is what it is). DM me your username if you want to get unbanned.

That's fair, but you also got a bit more from it, which is what I object to.
It's such a harmless joke you could have just said "hey we really don't want people even joking about searching porn in our server don't do it again please" but instead you're out here "not your brightest moment, go sit in timeout for a bit and slightly beg me to let you back in".

Asking people to Google something that will result in straight up porn results on the official discord with half a million people should not be on the list of your brigthest moments. Think about it for a bit and if you come to a point where you agree that it might not have been a good idea, you can send me your username and I’ll lift the ban.
Edit: I've seen all the feedback, including disagreeing on the original action taken. I'm not saying a ban was warranted, but it's not necessarily uncalled for on a server of this size, all things considered. When it happens, it's also not hard to reach out and get unbanned (so please do in similar situations). Locking the thread, so we can get back to mining.
DRG discord mods are terminally online and love to power trip over the slightest thing, banning people without explanation. If you look up "discord" in this subreddit you'll see dozens of posts from people banned for very silly stuff.
I suggest you just stay away altogether.
You also see people get unbanned, when they realize that they can’t do their usual “very silly stuff” on an official discord server with almost 600k members. :)
I was muted for an entire week as of now with zero warning for typing a few lines from DIGGY DIGGY hole as a joke. Since I was insta muted I had no chance to ask about anything and I have revived no replies from the 2 moderators I have contacted in order to ask about it and a possible un mute as well as the fact that nowhere in the rules is it states that that is a mutable or banable offense

I’m just gonna go over this fast, since I’m on Leave currently, but here goes; - Rockpox is staying for the season, because it’s what’s happening this season - Rockpox will not be staying for a third season other than having some sort of reduced presence akin to the rivals. - How the future seasons will be in regards to content and themes, I can’t say. We’re pretty set on not doing two similar seasons again, but we’re not going to guarantee that we won’t. - We’re listening to all the feedback we get, and that will be a factor in future seasons - decisions will be based on both feedback and data. - That said, I’ll just throw in a disclaimer saying that developing a game with community feedback does not make it a democratic process and ultimately we’re making the game that we want to make. We’ll not be able to make everyone happy - that is the risk of making content for an already established gameplay loop.
Please don’t go and wave the flag in other subreddits just for sh*ts’n’giggles. I have no issues assuming that if you’re unable to follow the rules of other subreddits, you won’t be able to follow the rules of this subreddit either.
