No, flip it. The “joke” linked to game mechanics. The jet boots works by boosting using one button, so what would be better fitting than a lock using the same concept? The minigame exists because of the boots, not the other way around.
The thing is it worries me that the direction the devs want to take the game in is all.
And why flappy bird? Why not whack-a-mole or ski- ball? Why not make it a dance revolution pad if its just for lols?
I'd just prefer something that felt more like a job for a gritty space mining company than a smartphone app from the 2013
It’s linked to the motion and mechanics of the jet boots. Jetty boots is literally the joke. We do a lot of subtle and less subtle jokes.
The real question is, where's Bosco's Streets of Rage skin to go along with his new Season 4 Street Fighter skin?

Semi-rare. It’s not guaranteed and you can have unlucky RNG.
I saw something about not updating the game on pc to finish the current pass, how would I do that on steam? just launch in offline mode, or do I need to change my game version in the launcher? thanks.
edit: just launching in offline mode so it doesnt update is enough.

I'm not sure if we were extremely unlucky or something is genuinely wrong, but in 2 missions back to back we had a drednought spawn directly after swarm. Literally mission control announces a swarm and 5 seconds later they announce a dred.

Please have weapon overclocks, after you've collected them all into cosmetic, or make machine events more common. It's depressing having so many cores and not finding a single event no matter how many missions I do
I have all the overclocks and 350 blank cores :(

people were expressing serious distaste over two part seasons back in season 2. A full year ago. lets not act like this is new criticism

Please consider not doing more 2 part seasons. It gets stale doing the same thing for 6 months then doubling down on the same. Season 2 had a similar problem

haha stingtail launched me directly upwards - died to fall damage. havent yet figured out how to fight em. they always catch even if you strafe and have heavy armor. looks like armor breaking becomes a must for every loadout
