That was probably me, and that’s mostly because we’ve previously used prototypes that’s been shelved. It’s possible that it or another biomes makes an appearance some day, but we have not confirmed any new biomes at all.

They already confirmed the new biome before the season 2 launch
You must be thinking of Caustic Mire, that was switched with Hollow Bough back when we added that. We haven’t said anything about that returning.
