Sorry about this! If you’ve restarted the game no more than once, please attach your log files so we can look into this.
If you encounter any issues with quests (or most any issue really) it’s very helpful to upload your log file. Thanks!

This will be fixed in 0.7.9e. Sorry about that!
This will be fixed in 0.7.9e. Sorry about that! In the meantime, you can return to the Timeline you intended to be doing by going to its waypoint on the Map.
This bug doesn’t happen consistently, so it’s hard to confirm internally. However, we’ll release a potential fix in 0.7.9e. Thanks!
Apologies for the late reply. We’re still investigating this issue, as it doesn’t happen consistently, which makes it difficult to track down.
If you encounter any issues with quests at all, please post your log files. Thanks!

Sorry about this! If you can’t get to the log file, you probably need to enable Hidden Items in File Explorer. It’s an option under the View tab.
Alternatively, press the Windows key and R key at the save time, type in appdata
and hit enter, then navigate to the correct folder.
How many active modifiers and echoes conquered did you have before you died? Your log files would be helpful too.
It sounds like that’s placeholder text, which definitely isn’t happening for most people. How many modifiers did you have before dying?
Please try to repair the game if you’re playing through Steam. If the issue persists, attach your ...

Apologies for the slow response, it can be difficult to keep up in the days after a patch.
Unfortunately, I’m not seeing a clear indication of the problem in your log files. The ending portion looks the same as if the game was shut down normally. Could you please check if you have any crash report files, and upload them here as a .zip file? They’re located here: C:/Users/YOURNAME/AppData/Local/Temp/Eleventh Hour Games/Last Epoch/Crashes
Are you referring to the Monolith in Echo of a World? If so, that’s a known bug, sorry about that.
Could you elaborate on what about the “modifiers removed” popup was confusing? When you die in the Monolith, you lose a number of Echoes Conquered and some of the modifiers you had on your run are also removed.
Yes, please.
This is fixed in 0.7.9d. Thanks!
Sorry about this! Could you please upload your log files and system information so we can look into the issue?
Very sorry to hear about this! Can you please upload your log files so we can look into this issue?
As Llama said, this is unfortunately a bug with characters created before 0.7.8. However, what happened is that your character had more skill points than skill levels. So, when the skill leveled up, you would not be granted a point, but you did not lose any points.
If you want to play that old character still, the issue should be resolved after leveling up a few times.
