Let me clear up a couple things if I could....
1. No individual, including the game designers unilaterally decide what gets changed. It's not our process.

  1. Feedback from the community alone is never enough, it's paired with data that supports a potential change or concern.
  2. No nerf for this has been confirmed at this time. I believe it was mentioned as a potential adjustment, but until it's confirmed please don't assume this is happening.

This is based on how the Nintendo ecosystem works. Purchases made from within their systems will not transfer to other platforms. I would advise folks to spend their Rogue Bucks before the last day Switch is available.

While we will end Support of the Switch system, your account information will remain untouched. If you have linked to EGS or Steam, you should have absolutely no problems accessing your account. Just be sure to not change your Primary account to another platform.

Thanks for asking about this. If you switch your Primary Platform as you stated you will lose your progress. If you are linked, everything you own minus any Rogue Bucks you own on Nintendo (unfortunately a limitation of how this Store works) will transfer over.

Howdy, I wanted to respond to this because I'd like to address what I believe are potentially misconceptions.

  1. SMGs needed to be changed. He's still making additional adjustments but they were never meant to be where they were. We know not everyone agrees with this, but it's one of many directions we felt we needed to go and part of a larger balance approach.
  2. Matchmaking is frequently simplified and actually a quite complex system. Understanding ELO and MMR is just the surface of how a full matchmaking system works and most of our current team (this system is years old) has not really dug into the backend. If we had a magic bullet "fix" that would make everyone happy we would have implemented that immediately.
  3. This isn't a misconception just more a response around the Event Pass, if someone still doesn't have Supply Drops (you should because they were re-enabled on Sunday) then please reach out to our Support team and we're happy to dig into your ...

With respect that is a completely inaccurate statement if it exists. No one from the Support team would have stated that because we use those daily to action players.

Appreciate you making this thread. Folks we know a number of you are experiencing various performance related issues and they are at the forefront of our teams mind. There is a vast complexity in these services and so much that happens between your machine and our servers that it sometimes is a little hard to pinpoint.

Let me provide an example if I might. The night before last many of you reported being kicked from matches and we observed this happening on multiple live streams. We worked with our technical folks, identified what was a improperly configured machine and pulled it out of the rotation. Problem solved right?

In actuality digging further into these logs they noticed one of the streamers had an authentication issue with Easy Anti-cheat. I see these errors all the time and they aren't uncommon but in reviewing the data they were off the charts higher than normal. We noticed around that time there was an Epic Online Services outage impacting all Epic...

Appreciate you bringing this up. There is definitely a new crash on PS5 that was introduced with the update that we had folks digging into today. It will be hotfixed as soon as humanly possible.

Prior to a patch that came out in between the launch of Mad Mercenaries and the Mid-Season patch, I owned the Scaducci Summer wrap because it was a reward for signing up to emails from Hi-Rez about Rogue Company. Once that patch came out, it started randomly leaving and re-entering my inventory every time I logged in.

One time I tried to fix the issue by getting a Rogue Supply Drop (of which, at the time, the only thing I could get from it was the scaducci summer wrap) with rep to get the wrap from the drop. It didn't give me a warning before I opened it like supply drops usually do if you try to open one when there isn't anything to get, so I thought I was in the clear and it would work. But instead I got a 60 min account boost. At least I didn't spend Rogue Bucks like you, damn shame that. :(

So the lack of warning is very likely because in that situation we granted you a box versus the normal game flow. That's a good note for us to investigate.

Tons of games have chat options despite the toxicity. As long as you have filters in place and give the option to report abusive chat then I don't see what the issue is.

We have games with both text chat and no text chat. We take action on quite literally 10 times more accounts in those other games than Rogue Company for language (and I don't mean simple profanity). We completely understand the benefits described, but do not believe they outweigh the costs. This is actually quite common in the industry now and you'll start seeing fewer and fewer games released with text chat.

We can't go too much into the sausage making with these systems, but the volume of reports does play a role in the expedience of how an account is reviewed. If you aren't cheating, it's usually pretty obvious. We've built a profile over the years of what an average cheater looks like and a veteran player may hit one point but rarely multiple.
