The Rogue Rewards I confirmed last week did go out. Could you please provide me your ticket number, I'd like to look into this.

Rogues! The game will receive a hotfix tomorrow morning, June 23rd, to address a few outstanding issues. The team continues to investigate and resolve other bugs reported as well but here is what the hotfix will specifically change:

  • Viewing the scoreboard during Rogue Select will no longer show what rogues the other team is picking
  • The game should no longer crash when players enter the shooting range right after opening Supply Drop.
  • Force close when pressing A Button after loading screen on Shooting Range will no longer crash the game.
  • The Trench mastery emote has been reverting to a previous version and should be turned back on.
  • Rogue select, Walkout, Skydive & Round Start/End music should no longer fail to play on Arena if the last map you played wasn't Arena
  • The issue around Sigrid's ballistic shield failing to block damage from Juke's turret was already addressed, but this will clean up some of the incorrect VFX/SF...

Hey there! We don't actually control names, they are passed through directly from whatever platform you play from. People can certainly be creative so it's not too far of a reach that someone got around Microsoft, Sony, Epic, Nintendo, or Steam. We'll have some take care of this on our side though so thank you for reporting it.

Hey there! I'm hopeful I can clear up what i'm guessing is a misconception about how we develop Rogue Company. Updates do come with bugs (an unfortunate side effect of software development) and yes we do prioritize them, but we don't necessarily hold anything unless we have to.

When a bug is confirmed and a fix worked out, we determine if it can be fixed with a simple restart or requires a client patch. Something like say fixing a typo in a description is simple and can be fixed quickly. Something like an animation bug with a weapon is a bit more complicated and requires a full patch which means it all goes through approvals with Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo.

Those do take a bit of effort and require time so we have to lump our larger fixes together.

This particular update we've hotfixed 4 times if I recall since the update fixing issues as quickly as humanly possible so we certainly aren't afraid to update the game. Hopefully this provides some in...

When are HiRez going to address the absolutely broken matchmaking system.

Its never been fit for purpose and has been tweaked to be progressively worse over the past 12 months.

High level players do not want Nintendo switch, xbox one, or PS4 fills added to their team to "balance" out the matchmaking.

Low level players do not want added to a match where they offer no support to the team as they are still learning the ropes of the game.

Hello! We are selective mostly because there are so many hours in the day and so much we can effectively communicate. As I stated in the previous post, we are currently assessing data around crossplay and matchmaker to determine it's effectiveness based on changes from the update. There is a tricky balance to be found between queue times (data from our games and others show most players do no want 5-10 minute ones) and match quality so finding it will certainly require adjustments.

We do appreciate the feedback around it, it helps us make these decisions.

Our team ran investigations about 5 hours ago and determined the issue we were running into and believe it has been resolved at this time. The hotfix notes from today we'll grab a roundup and get a post up on Reddit. I think the team has been trying to fix them as quickly as humanly possible and with 7 different platforms we want to do our best to not confuse anyone on what is fixed on each individual platform.

Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to share your concerns with us, we genuinely do appreciate it. The team has been actively watching Reddit since last week and working on issues. I've been hitting random threads but it's Reddit, very easy to miss.

This morning's update should fix a nasty bug with the Ibex and a more minor fix of listing the Apex map in Wingman Customs.

We did see some significant concerns around queue time and our engineers took a lengthy look. While there may still be a lengthy queue times due to an issue or depending on when you queue, this should no longer be affecting people in general.

In terms of bug fixing it sounds like you may have missed our patch notes, which had a list of 19 fixes with the update and have made a half dozen more since Wednesday. There are certainly more that need addressing but they are certainly being worked on.

If you managed to get a MatchID from this could you pass it along? Also what platform and region were you playing in?

This usually indicates some data isn't getting where it's supposed to go. We did have an event last night where saw some issues but if you see this again please do report it.

Hey there! I can only speak in generalities without specifics but our actions taken against cheaters increased significantly over the last 7 days. While you are correct, cheating always exists along with sometimes good players that people think are cheating, plenty of people are hit through our processes every day. Admittedly unfortunately they have to cheat before they are caught so it's going to impact some players, in those cases we try and remove them as quickly as possible.

Howdy! Sorry you are running into this issue. You may want to start with verifying the integrity of your files, it definitely looks like something isn't quite right. If you aren't seeing an EAC popup or the game itself it means nothing has really launched.

This communication was unexpected and frankly on the heels of a lot of other communications. It is very important we agree, which is why we didn't wait to put it out and got it circulating.
