Hey all,

We’re still trying to resolve this problem permanently with our server provider. Some of you will experience intermittent issues when connecting, which is still a leftover of the downtime our backend servers suffered.
We’ll update this thread once we have any significant news about this situation.

Our current lead is one of the optimizations we added in 2.3, but yeah it’s proving to be quite elusive. Thankfully, with the repro case we can keep going at it and find the cause sooner or later.

We’re aware of this one and we managed to find a repro case for it just recently. It’s in our list of issues we want to fix based on community feedback in the near future, but it’s turning out to be quite tricky to find the culprit for it.
TLDR: We’re looking into it, but no ETA yet. :sweat_smile:

There’s some fixes for this in 2.5 (currently on Testlive). If you’re willing to try this build, please let us know if the issue remains for you on Testlive.

This seems like an isolated issue regarding the official server you’re playing on, based on other reports you’ve sent about its performance.

Hey there,

Yes, these bags are internal controllers that give pets and animal enemies their attack movesets. They normally show up on animals or pets spawn via admin panel, but it is not unheard of them also showing during normal gameplay. Removing these bags is not harmful.

Hey @SynderSuvaki

Does the game still crash for you when loading a backup of your savegame? You can access them in your Saved folder inside your Conan Exiles installation. You’ll find several numbered files with the name “game_backup_x.db”. Just rename one of those to “game.db” (make sure to backup your current game.db file first, just in case) and load into the game as usual.
