Araxyte spiders breeding araxyte spiders was a bug. The only way to obtain an actual araxyte spider is from killing Araxxi. This now means that only the 'shiny' araxyte spiders can be bred which will correctly tick off the breeding log. Previously it was possible to breed a non shiny which was confusing people as to why their breeding log was not ticked off. Hope this helps =)
Edit - Araxyte spiders now default to breeding spirit spiders.
I assume you harvested from them at 0% health and happiness then? Be sure to use honey or flavored milk to raise their stats =)

We had an internal playtest for this recently on a new engine. While there was a significant improvement there were still some issues that occurred. Not sure when this will be ready for release but it is being worked on =)
The Desperate times quest set everyone's progress of Sliskes Endgame to just before the boss fight. We were able to track different quest variables to set people that had skipped forward back to where they should be. Unfortunately anyone that was past the start of the fight has been reset to the start. The quest will now complete as normal.

You can still get Mirrorback spawns p4 (when no specials are lefts) , source, have title, I seen’t it
The final set of spiders can contain a support spider when in p4 yes. I have recently bought this up in a combat council meeting however as this bothered me when I did raxi recently too.
This is based around whether or not you have unlocked the 'Gavin pet'. Since the challenge to unlock this pet requires a mirrorback an extra one will spawn that is separate to the pool of spiders. This is to help make the challenge easier.
This mirrorback will only spawn if you have unlocked the base pet and will stop spawning once you have unlocked Gavin.
We have a job in to fix this =)

Currently the minibosses are not attached to the final gate. We changed this for ED3 and are looking to make this change across the other two dungeons soon as well =)
