The Elven names weren't lost on me, which is why I was extra surprised there wasn't much to Solak.

I had been trying to name Solak for weeks, surprisingly its very hard to name things once you've been doing it for a couple of years.

Yup. For Solak.
For the Elven brothers and sisters I pulled slight imaginations/variations from Tolkiens Sindarin elven language based off their relationships with each other and powers they possessed as children. All four of them being able to twist and control nature leads to a lot of the naming;
Erethdor - Seed (eredh) + Brother (tôr) (First born brother)
Meretheil - Rose (meril) + Sister (thêl) (explained in quest about her birth and a prophecy)
Saeldor - Wise (sael) Brother (tôr) (Wisdom)
Faerdhinen - Silent Spirit (faer+dínen) (ability to control animals through spirit magic)
I REALLY want to explain all this on a quest I've designed but don't have the spare time to bring it to light.
Interesting! And Perdita's dialogue suggests that Solak's name came from "solar".
Nice coincidence tbh, I came up with Solak's name by sitting in traffic and seeing the Chevrolet Kalos, thought Kalos was a cool name but too close to Telos so I just reversed it... Birthing Solak.

The reason you have not seen it as often is because it only works on Crossbows/Grimoire.
It was raised on stream last week that I do indeed have a job to make Hazelmeres ring work on chest loot systems and extending it to work on every bit of 'trash loot' at Solak would certainly be a part of this :)

A poke is not needed.
Rewards from Solak are deposited straight to inventory, and HSR doubles items that drop to the ground. I've never seen anyone provide a screenshot of HSR doubling any reward from Solak.
However, it's been shown that HSR doubles rewards from big game hunter which use the same loot distribution system (items go straight to inventory and there's a colour-coded list of rewards in the chat).
