Unfortunately, today's a bank holiday, so none of the normal devs would be at work. I'm sure some "essential staff" is there, but good luck getting their attention on Reddit.

Random question, was perdita unlock ever fixed? It used to (possibly still does) unlock at 1001 kc but the pet interface says its meant to unlock at 1000 even. 1000 kc on the pet just looks so much nicer than 1001! :p
It's not an automatic unlock which is an oversight on my part.
Once you get your 1000 kills, you have to talk to Merethiel who will then give you a little speech before giving you the unlock.
Effigy drops are all secondary tables :)
I'd love to see more armour and weapons in the new Elven style. The grimoire and stave are beautiful.

Far off topic but I just wanted to say solak was another great boss of yours and i think you did a great job :)
I appreciate that and i'm glad you enjoy it.
I've taken a lot of learnings from developing Solak and I'm hopeful to make it a tad more accessible in the future by removing the hard locked 7 man mode and instead making HP and mechanics scale to teams of 2/3/4/5/6/7 so you can enjoy the boss with however many of your friends you want (no more than 7 players though). Possibly even the much requested solo mode.
Been discussing it over with u/jagexiago and we feel it should be doable but we also both understand it's going to be a hell of a lot of testing and work needed in order for us to get it ready for release so we sure as hell can't commit or say for sure this will happen any time soon or even at all.
We're both really busy with other super cool projects though.

Most of us have ideas and content designs which we've worked on out of hours or thought up at home.
Most the story for a quest is sitting in a notepad at home, just need the time to craft it into a quest and think up some puzzle elements.

Pages dropped from 5m to a steady 3.1m with the most recent change. If we knee jerk and mess it up then you'll get all the players who like making profit from Solak coming out and complaining that we now need to make Solak profitable again, there really is no winning.
As we've said before, it's something we're keeping an eye on very closely, there are more pages coming into the game and the price has dropped so for now we're content with the direction of this trend.
It's really not that expensive to use if you have the money to do so, it's just too expensive for YOU to use. If it gets to a point where you justify that it's worth the cost then there will still be someone out there who says it's 'way too expensive to use' still.
