Good news, it's a separate playlist that becomes available to you after you place Top 5 in a match. You can still choose to play in the regular playlist if you want.

Yes, they are additional rewards for any that bought the Season 1 battle pass and yes, you get them retroactively if you've completed the first 15 levels.

We are aware of this and working to fix the bug for an upcoming patch. I can't promise an ETA quite yet but once we can confirm it's good to go after testing I'll give a more solid timeframe. Sorry for the issue.

The patch is now live on PC and rolling out to PS4 and Xbox shortly. You might need to restart our client to download it and in cased you missed the post on Friday, you can view the patch notes here.

Hey all, we have a patch scheduled to go live early next week. We’ll do a follow up post when we’ve confirmed it’s available for download on all platforms and in the meantime, below are the patch notes with some dev context:

AUDIO FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS

One of our biggest issues to tackle was improving the audio performance to address issues reported of sounds dropping out, sounds missing for extended time, or distortion for a period of time. We have made improvements both in our code and with our content that will hopefully fix these issues for many players, and for others, at least lower the amount and length of time they encounter audio issues.

We have also addressed some of the other mix issues with the game, including increasing the volume of close proximity enemy footsteps and lowering the overall volume of the game from the character select screen to the end of the drop sequence. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT: The game sfx audio was 100% when it launched but now it sometime tears up or completely unhearable specially when skulltown is hotzone and majority drops there. The sound tears badly unabling us to hear anything no gunshots no footsteps and the game lags.

Hope u consider this with the current situation as well on priority.

We are aware of the crashing reports on PS4 since downloading the update today. For some context, this patch was only meant to update the PS+ skin rewards in the Playstation Store, no changes were made to the game and this was pushed on Playstation 4 only.

We'll provide updates here as we investigate what's causing the issue.

UPDATE: The "Pick Me Up" Banner Frames for Lifeline is trying to call up a non-existent file. We've been able to confirm that the following can cause the game to crash:

  • If you've earned the Banner Card  and hover over it in the customization menus.
  • Viewing your Banner Card, squadmate's, or the champion's banner in the intro or on the in-world screens.
  • Inspecting someone who has the card equipped by right-clicking a friend in the lobby.

Hey all, in the blog post last week, I mentioned we’d have an update on anti-cheat for Apex on PC. We’ve got some updated stats and some interesting tidbits on things we’re doing.

We’ve been working closely with key experts across EA including: EA Security and Fraud, the Origin teams, our fellow developers at DICE, FIFA, and Capital Games, in addition to Easy-Anti-Cheat. While we’ve already rolled out several updates (and will be continually doing so for the foreseeable future), others will take time to fully implement. While we can’t share details on what we’re doing so as to not give a head’s up to the cheat makers, what we can say is that we’re attacking this from every angle, from improvements to detecting cheaters, bolstering resources and tools, to improving processes and other sneaky things to combat sellers and cheaters.   2. We totally hear this feedback and in June we'll have more to talk about.
  3. Good feedback! A very interesting aspect of the pace of the game as it is right now relates to how different the pacing was for us during development. Playtesting a large playercount game with a very small player pool during development means we all took a much more reserved mindset as an early death came with a big penalty - you had to sit out and wait for the next match. In the live game with millions of active players, there is very little reason to not hot-drop into Skulltown or a supply ship, thereby leaving mid-round feeling very empty. This is actually a very nuanced and interesting design challenge which we have lots of ideas in development to help address it.

Neither shows shields when they get hit even if they have them, until you break their shields and then it pops when it breaks.

Also they both take direct health damage instead of taking reduced damage? It's really messed up.
