It's turned off for RGM. I do think the upgraded mastery emote should exist, but I agree with not racking up eternals points in RGM since they're usually in some way, breaking the game.
This is correct. I agree that we should enable mastery emote upgrades for RGM - I’ll see if we can make this change in 2021.
Tbh it's still kinda frustrating that there isn't another shot for the 2019 skins. I get it, they don't have to or anything, but I wasn't able to play during the Project event so I missed out on pretty much the only Prestige skin I really wanted, with no opportunity at any other point in time to get it despite being able to play more now.
Kind of a shame imo.

I wonder if the animated emote will actually be animated this year, since the Ahri one was teased up until and shortly after release as "Animated" then they pulled it from the shop and renamed it to remove the word "Animated"

which doesn't make sense considering Akali, Ahri, Evelynn, and Senna got their Prestige versions way later than their base versions.
Even if they were released later, they were still done at the same time, just released later.
What this basically means is "We are doing a prestige skin for a skin that we designed a while ago"

Don't worry - Eternals Capsules are the only way that Loot will drop Eternals Shards. Also, if you don't want the Eternals Shards, you can disenchant the shards for Orange Essence.
