Thanks for the input! We actually plan to put up a focus feedback for shell company changes for the PTR once it’s live but I’ll make sure the team sees this as well.

I can completely understand your frustration. The team looks at a lot of different things to make changes, including player feedback and in-game telemetry. The good thing is that changes in combat are fluid and they’re always looking to make adjustments, especially with the introduction of new abilities (like the heartgem) and weapons.

Yes, being in a faction is no longer mandatory! Unfortunately, I don’t believe that there’s a way to switch to factionless if you’re already in a faction but we’ve provided the feedback to the team that there will be some players who are interested in that feature.

From my understanding, those release notes are here:

Mutations: Top end difficulty scaling was tuned.
Note: this change affects difficulties 7-10

  • Damage increased balancing for wards
  • AI Health increased balancing for new Perks and Trophies

We realize that this puts new, low-level quest pins back on your map and that some players would prefer not to see these map pins. We are discussing map options and/or ways of highlighting quests that are significantly below your level. We’ll let you know when we have a plan to address this.

Understood - it seems like this is actually a bug. Taunt is intended to be on that gem.

It should increase threat generation but I saw a few threads that stated that it wasn’t working properly. I’ve forwarded this to the team.

Yes, The Wild Huntress is the last main story questline currently available but there’s a bunch of additional story in Brimstone Sands!
