Hey there, we’re aware of players wanting merges for Fresh Start Worlds and while we have communicated this feedback to the team, we do not currently have any plans to merge Fresh Start Worlds.

Should that change, we will communicate it in the Official News category so that players are informed.

At this time, we have not been made aware of any plans to merge Fresh Start Worlds, only Legacy worlds. Should that change, we’ll communicate it in the Official News category.

We are not allowing players on Fresh Start Worlds to transfer onto other Fresh Start Worlds. However, players in these worlds will have the opportunity to transfer to Legacy worlds in a future update.

We are not allowing any transfers to Fresh Start Worlds, even from RtA worlds. However, in a future update, players in Fresh Start Worlds will be able to transfer to Legacy worlds.

During the initial Fresh Start World rush, we prioritized player experience by creating additional worlds and mitigating extenuating queues. To address population shifts, we will be merging legacy worlds within US-East, US-West, South America, Australia, and Central Europe to help support healthy world populations. As a reminder, we look into a combination of average concurrency, active characters, faction population, and more to determine which worlds should be merged.

The following worlds will be merged on 2022-11-18T15:00:00Z in your local timezone. We will also be taking down the servers that are being merged for 30 minutes 2022-11-16T00:00:00Z in your local timezone to apply special in-game messaging and blocks for events like wars and invasions.

We will be holding downtime at 2022-11-04T06:00:00Z for 2 hours for the following fixes:

• Updated Landing Screen to show Return to Aeternum article.
• Updated Scourge of Aeon Madness quest to re-grant the required recipe on quest reset.
• Fixed an issue that could block completion of the Heartforge Guardian and Overseer Zane encounters.
• Hidden Stashes have gone on hiatus until next year. But don’t worry as there are now Concealed Vaults hidden among the contents of chests, urns, and crates throughout Aeternum. These Vaults contain Diamond Gypsum, Coin, and a few other goodies. So go loot some chests and find up to 3 Concealed Vaults per day.

Q: What if all Fresh Start Worlds are set to Full?

A: Servers may become locked between waves due to world capacity and queues but we will monitor worlds closely, especially during and right after the rollout phase to ensure that players can join a world in their preferred region.
