Hey Schrubber, reports like this break my heart - I know how frustrating that is. The team is working on some systems for 0.7.8 that should significantly reduce the risk of data loss. When we have the servers live and you make online characters this will hopefully never be an issue. Thanks for bearing with us and reporting the issue. I hope you get awesome drops when you log in next :slight_smile:

Hey all, we understand that this is an issue and this post has inspired me to schedule meetings at least quarterly to discuss ways to help with visual clutter. It’s definitely a challenging issue to solve but it can and should be mitigated as much as possible. Will follow this thread in case anyone has some million dollar suggestions.

Hey all, just want to say this we’re very in tune with this idea and we will not be afraid to drastically alter gold drop rates and sale prices closer to release, especially once we have most systems in place that will affect and relate to the economy. We’re fans of keeping numbers low so I could see us going in this direction. The largest concern is dropping enough that you feel a sense of progress from the delta in drop amounts when going through the game but the current implementation leaves plenty of room for reductions. Good topic!

Hey all, we’re updating all playable characters animations. Currently reworking mage animations and they’re coming along extremely well with the addition of our new lead animator. Hoping we can wrap up the changes before 0.7.8 so we can get them in your hands and show you the new level of quality we’re aiming for for all classes

Definitely had been talked about but comes with some issues including starting a new character with your friends in multiplayer, early game imbalance, issues for future race content, probably some others I’m forgetting at the moment. It’s a really cool idea and maybe we’ll figure out a way that it makes sense for a future class. I loved that aspect of Chrono Trigger and their obtained party members :slight_smile:

Hey guys. We need to give you an update on multiplayer soon but the short version is it’s progressing and still on pace for phase 3. I wish we could push it even faster because we are incredibly excited for it but there’s a bit more to progress on.

Hey all, we agree the character selection could use a little love and have been talking internally about what that may look like. Characters on the select screen reflecting your gear will make an appearance at multiplayer release or near then because the system update to allow that is tied together with those systems. :slight_smile:

Hey Mega,

This is something that the genre has found time and time again actually takes away from the experience as you end up fiddling with the camera controls more than feels good. Other similar titles have gotten quite far in development with these controls and ultimately have removed them due to player feedback. Very early on we even experimented with it a little just to prove to ourselves what we already knew. Therefore we are unlikely to ever add the ability to rotate the camera.

Hi all,

We understand that having a single character which is male or female per class can be disappointing to players who want other options. We would love to do this but it’s just a matter of resources that our indie studio doesn’t have. Creating another gender option per class would require double the animations, character introductions, voice acting, a large amount of work for equippable armor, etc. which is probably more time consuming and resource intensive than some realize. Im saying this so that you guys understand your desire for this isn’t falling on deaf ears and we’re just not tackling this because we don’t think it’s a good design choice. Maybe in the future we’ll have the means to do this - we would love it as much as you guys.

\Last Epoch\Last Epoch_Data\StreamingAssets\Chat\Profanity.list

Though I must warn you that the words are comma separated in plain text and if foul words aren’t for you then this list may be something you want to avoid.

You may also disable chat at any time with the little settings wheel above the chat panel.

The projectile itself doesn’t cause much stuttering / lag, but when it hits the character or minion, it hits them frames hard.

Trasochi:

Found the cause, the on death vfx has collision and is not pooled. Fixing now.
