I do understand that some folks are frustrated and want to communicate that frustration.

It is totally fair to not agree with design decisions a video game team is making, but please avoid creating hostile conspiracy theories to explain those decisions.
For example accusing us of hating our players in the original thread title.

I understand that emotions can run high, but please express your feedback and concerns in a constructive way.

I am going to earnestly ask everyone to not take this conversation off the rails. Like please help me out here.

Representation is super important. It isn’t easy for folks in the often heavily represented groups to understand what it might be like to not see positive reflections of yourself in the movies, tv shows, games, and communities you are a part of. We sincerely care about creating a space where everyone feels heard and seen and welcome.

The challenge I have is how do create a forum environment where folks feel heard on all the things that can help make New World more enjoyable for everyone without it turning into a place where strangers scream at each other about the things they disagree on in life.
