It is indeed very odd they did not announce this anywhere.

While you are the first to bring it up on the subreddit (I think), I would not be surprised if this is gonna cause quite some confusion.

It does seem like they updated the support page with the correct information though:

Hi folks, I dug into this over the last few hours, and we did not make any changes to trading rules in the game client.

What happened: We were doing some article housekeeping on the support website related to changes that came with v2.22, like accounting for the new enable/disable trading checkbox under the Interface Tab in the Settings menu. When this article was updated, details on the older, original trading restrictions were added in from some out-of-date documentation.

That article (which moderator iggyiggz1999 also linked to ...

If you can see the future, can you change it? Or will your quest to change it only ensure it happens?

Concerning the various updates to the chat system, I'd like to make a suggestion: When you disable "non-tactical" quick chat, it would be nice if you could still have the ability to say "gg", "Well played.", etc. in the post-match. Many players leave immediately once the game ends, but for the players that stay either to celebrate or ready up for another match, it would be nice to still be able to both say and hear gg. I would always say gg after a match whether I win or lose, and if I really hit it off with a teammate, I would say "Well played." and/or "That was fun!" There's nothing tactical or non-tactical about quick chat once the game is over. Any thoughts?

I'll bring this up, thanks!

Great question! "Everyone" addresses some edge cases, like if you're in a spectator slot in a private match.

Looking at the chat log, I can assure you they were not doing more good than bad.

Yep, that phrase does trigger a ban, and since this was your second offense, it is a week instead of three days.

The autoban doesn't factor in context, but since you posted this screenshot with no context, trying to farm sympathy upvotes, your first chat line from the match in question is saying "no one will ever love you" to your teammate. So for everyone else reading this, I can assure you the ban was justified.

Thanks for posting this! I think this would be tough since several server regions are made up of multiple locations (Example: US-East has servers in a few different states), so your game doesn't know what to display for ping, etc until matchmaking puts you in a specific server. We'll definitely keep this in mind in the future if we ever change up how server regions are defined. Thanks again! :D

STREETBALL ROOTS RUN DEEP IN SOVEREIGN HEIGHTS

While the biggest names in basketball have traditionally come from Dunk House, there lives a hardcore group of Hoops mains who traded hardwood courts for asphalt. I have to log onto Fortnite to accept or decline friend requests. Only way to join a game party is through Xbox menu. On Series X btw.

Multiple players from r/RocketLeagueExchange have had the same issue.

Here is one small thread.

Thanks for bringing this up -- we've been working on this since the start of S8, and we added some new logging in the background with v2.21 to see if it can help us identify the issue.
