Can you share the designers working on the Void Jungler, and the Non-Traditional bot laner?
EndlessPillows is the designer on the Jungler and Squad5 is the designer on the bot laner

Hi Reav3, just curious but if shyvana was the winner of the rework poll how much would you change her abilities?
Probably a lot. I think we would try to keep her play pattern intact (though can't guarantee that) The goal would be to sell the fantasy of transforming into a dragon, and make that feel awesome, not sure how much we would have to change to accomplish that goal, because she is pretty far from it now.
Disappointed Renata's bio didn't mention idk Silco or Arcane events or even Shimmer despite her purple theme, and btw will new zaunite champions get their green theme turned into purple in future asu like cait ? (Singed ww jinx twitch)
No, as Chemtech gets more refined it turns from green to pink/purpleish. Renata uses really expensive/refined chemtech hence the more purple/pink colors for her
Hey u/Reav3
I have a question (unrelated to the VGU poll): Could you reveal, if Renata Glasc was inspired by any specific culture(s) or region(s)?
No specific place or region. We wanted to do a mixed race character from Zaun/Piltover to show how those cities have people come from all around Runeterra and live at them. She's meant to be a mix of many different ethnicities and cultures growing up in the melting pot of Zaun/Piltover
It will be out later this week
Oh yeah could I ask who is going to work on the voted VGU, if you already have a team in mind
We dont yet no, it wont start for a little bit
What about KindleJack? Where does he go after the new support? He really has been kicking with Fiddle and Mundo recently
Yeah I love working with Kindlejack. He's not currently working on a new champ as he was helping with a lot of Pre Season stuff, he will be starting a new Champion very soon though
Is lonewingy currently working on a new champ or a rework? I usually really love her work, so I am curious
She is currently working on a new Champ, but its a ways off
Hey Reav3 any update on the blog? Is it still for this week?
Not this week. I think its next week though I'm not 100% sure on that
Wow that’s really high, could I also ask where you guys are targeting Udyr in terms of popularity, he seems like a champ who could be mildly popular like some other bruisers
We think Udyr has potential to be a lot more popular then he is right now yes, especially given a VGU. We aren't massively changing his play pattern though so we don't think he will be like SUPER popular, just more popular then he is now
Would you happen to know where Zeri has landed so far, day 1
Here you go, shes pretty damn popular so far
Will it be weighted down per region like it was in 2019?
I believe so
when will we get to know this years's vgu poll voting results ??? plz
The polls closed and I have seen the data. Cant talk about it yet and not sure what date the announce will happen. We have to write the devblog and localize it then it will come out, probably sometime in the next week or so
Would you happen to know where Zeri has landed so far, day 1
No the data hasn't caught up to her release yet. I should for sure have her early data by Monday though
What about Mundo? How do you think he done on the longer run compared to expectations?
Mundo has landed where we expected, which is roughly where he was pre-rework. We knew we weren't changing him enough for him to move much, and he was already somewhat popular. The goal was just to modernize him.
Would you guys work on an albino champion one day ?
I don't see why not
Thanks for the transparency.
I know things like this are SUPER hard to predict (or maybe not I obviously don't know), but do you feel the "hatred" echo chamber towards new champions whether it is about overloaded kits, repeated gameplay & aesthetic choices, or whatever else the players complain about affect those metrics?
Its doubtful, as it's actually a pretty small percentage of players that engage with Reddit and other social media. I imagine if the backlash gets very big it could effect overall engagement, but I don't think it actually effects much
Hey /u/Reav3
Have recent released champions say Vex and Akshan, hit the "expected" depth & breadth target that Riot set internally? Or has there been a case where they have missed the mark?
Akshan ended up with less Breadth then we predicted but more depth. All in all still a pretty good add to the roster, especially since it doesnt look like he will be a pro play problem. Vex ended up with higher breadth then we predicted. So Akshan was a bit under and Vex was a bit over our engagement shotcall.
Oh I see, that’s awesome. I thought originally she may have been half black and Asian but might have just been me. Would be awesome to see a champion represent that sort of mixed heritage one day though :)
Rell is half black and half white
Is Zeri meant to be blasian or just inspired by SEA?
She is inspired by Filipino culture specifically
