Sorry for the late reply!! All I can say is:
I LOVE it. Great usage of assets from the game. I think I'm definitely hearing ENEMY CHASER in my sleep tonight.

Sound designer on the skins team here! Leaving some feedback as I would if this was posted in our internal review channel...

Taunt - Pretty good, really funny. Just make sure to check with VO for localization as we have to make sure 1,2,3 translates into other languages. Missing some foley of actual sit ups here, but I think you can borrow Base's.

Autos - the whoosh feels a bit too loud in the mix, I think it can be toned down just a bit. The hits are sounding great, but right punch needs a different sound from the left since it deals more damage.

Q - Stereo effect on the music could be tiny bit distracting for a non legendary skin but the value it's bringing is pretty immense. Just make sure that the volume isn't too loud since this spell is on a very short cooldown.

W - Sounding a bit close to Spirit Blossom thematically. Also On Hit center needs a more distinct hit impact sound, right now it sounds like it missed.

E - Bowling idea is geniu...

Judging from the Skin Spothlight video, the mini Gnar Q On Hit is also quite loudish. I see you have done an analysis of the sfx's volume, so I trust you deemed it not out of line. Maybe the linked video exaggerates the effect. It may also be the case that the sound is more harsh than the kinda mellow base sound and for this reason I perceive it differently.

Yup! Q hit is also loud + a bit more harsh, it should sound a lot more soother to listen to now.

Submitted a volume adjustment that brings tones down the Auto Attack On Cast and On Hit sound, as well as the W proc sound! I think it'll update on PBE sometime within 1-2 days.

My one small problem with the skin is that the aa and Q boomerang sounds are seemingly quite loud. Would you, please, consider lowering their volume a bit? I am a big fan of the quiet whooshing sounds the Super Galaxy Gnar autos make (I don't really the thematic of the skin though). Autos and the boomerang are used all the time and as such I can see the noise become truly annoying - for the player and the enemy.

Sincerely, a Gnar main.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm the sound designer who worked on the Gnar's SFX. I'll adjust the volume so it matches Base's volume. :)

Yup! We mixed the Take Over theme into his R. You can also hear it during his Recall too.

Thank you! I'm really glad that you love the Space Groove skinline! I wasn't in charge but I was one of the sound designers working on the skins - Lux and Nasus. As sound designers, we all help give feedback to not only other sound designers but also concept artists, VFX artists and splash artists. There was especially a lot of care and love put into this skinline due to us just naturally falling in love with the skinline too. Soon you'll hear the official Space Groove theme that our composer wrote which was where it REALLY inspired all of us. Really excited for you guys to hear it.

I love Final Space and Mooncake, but at the time of making the sounds for Barney I wasn't thinking about Mooncake! No one in the earlier meetings brought up resemblance to mooncake either. Only after our players started saying today that it looks similar to Mooncake did I go like "huh... wait it kind of does!" :D

If anything we have a "please use your PTO" culture. I can't tell you the amount of times my manager, team members, and team lead have said, "Please take off time. Get off Slack. Disconnect."

+1 On this! Sometimes during my PTO I would try to sneak back in for something and some people catch me and tell me to get off slack. haha

That's why we give our less played champions more established universes and populate them with new skins for them. They may not be as exciting as the new thematics because there are less marketing and hype around them, but I assure you, they're receiving just as much attention and care from modelers, artists, sound designers. We play these champs and are passionate about their existence in League too.

Doesn't that mean you kind of dropped the ball? If you can't make something exciting and new for a champ without relying on existing skin lines, then you kind of failed those champs and at your job. You SHOULD be able to create something new and inspiring for uncommon champs. Maybe you should be outsourcing more for ideas if none are coming to you. Again, I love a lot of the skins. I just feel like always taking from other skin lines and no...

What I meant to say is: "They may not FEEL as exciting as the new thematics to our players". We are still striving our best to make them as exciting as possible and add new features & expand the boundaries of the established thematics even more with the old champs.

Edit: Also, we have upcoming thematics with old champs coming in too. I can't spoil anything but these thematics are getting really creative.

And because skins like Mecha Aurelion Sol were just such a throwaway, your statement makes me think he's just going to be pushed further and further back for getting skins, til the token 3 year mark so we don't "complain".

I'm sorry, but things like the Sugar Rush skins were horrible, and I feel bad for the Zilean players. That was his chance for a new skin, and it came out when we're also having a time-based event, and it's going to be the only thing he gets for another long while. Dunkmaster Ivern was horrible. It needs to be said, the skin team has this amazing capability to knock concepts out of the park. Spirit Blossom Kindred looks beautiful. This entire event is chalk full of beautiful skins. But then the champions that I, unfortunately, enjoy get a throwaway generic Mech...

That sucks, I'm really sorry to hear that.

Some explanation for skins. While we do have a lot of different skin thematics, some are new (Battle Academy, True Damage, Spirit Blossom) as we expand, and those usually contain champions that are liked by a lot of players. It is the safest way to introduce a new thematic to players without risking that there will be no engagement because majority of players simply don't have previous experience with the champions (Ivern, Reksai, A Sol, Azir, etc).

That's why we give our less played champions more established universes and populate them with new skins for them. They may not be as exciting as the new thematics because there are less marketing and hype around them, but I assure you, they're receiving just as much attention and care from modelers, artists, sound designers. A Sol is in good hands.

I hope you'll trust us in that we'll b...

We don't have any guarantee that it won't be another 1500 for a Kindred skin. Hell, Ornn is STILL waiting for his first new skin. Azir, a very popular champion in the pro scene, is at almost 1300 days.

That's not what I said. I hope you understand that we skins team are trying to give skins to every champion, and on top of that, the ones that perform exceptionally well (Yasuo, Lux, Ahri, etc) are more likely to be considered for more frequent skins because of high demand. Doesn't mean that we're leaving everyone else behind. If Kindred's skin performs well from Spirit Blossom, it tells us two things: First, the lore-based event was a success and that we should do more of these, and second, Kindred does have a high demand for skins and that we should come back for more skins for her.

Many champions that people are talking about that haven't received their skins in a while - they're all in development as we speak. Please be patient.

If companies don't listen to you or want to put in the effort into something, then this is the easiest way to show your displeasure with something.

As someone who absolutely LOVES Kindred, this hurts a lot especially seeing as we'll presumably get the next skin in another 1500 days. But if we want change, we need to force it.

Despite what it may look like - our team work really hard to please the mains of the skins that we work on.

I believe in voting with your money, but also understand that the reason why popular champions receive skins because they perform well. It certainly won't be 1500 days for a new Kindred skin, and I hope that SB Kindred's performance will encourage us to make more Kindred skins in the future.
