Hello everyone! I'm Riot Koyuncu, one of the QA Engineers on League's Champions team.

Ambessa, the Matriarch of War, will be hitting PBE today. I'll be using this thread to post announcements and collect your player feedback. We've got about a week before we have to lock any changes for her release, so I'll be monitoring common suggestions in the comments to share back with the team for possible adjustments.

If you encounter any in-game bugs while playing Ambessa, please let us know by heading over to our Bug Reporting Tool and providing any information on the issue. Providing reproduction steps or a video clip are incredibly helpful at debugging.

An update to Fizz' VFX is shipping for Patch 12.16! 🦈🦈🦈 Similar to the previous VFX updates we’ve made in the past (Leona, Nami, Vel’koz, etc.), we're working on making improvements to champions whose spell effects are in need of some love. Our aim is to get their visuals to current League standards and improve gameplay clarity.

Keep in mind that these are smaller updates geared toward sprucing up some of the oldest members of the roster; the champions we select aren't in the same prioritization conversation as to how we decide who gets a VGU. Bel'veth will have some unique mechanics in ARAM. She'll get stacks when nearby cannon/siege minions die, and the special Void coral will spawn on towers that BV helps takedown.

Bel'Veth is now currently enabled and available to play on PBE! She's super fun to play, and I want to hear your player feedback before she launches in two weeks. Lillia P heals her when damaging large monsters or champions, with a 33% modifier to the lower value for more than one target. Some bad calculations meant that she was missing out on some PvP healing at her early levels (1-5) where the monster heal value is larger than champ heal value.

The actual healing should match the tooltip and no longer be sus

but honestly this is kinda huge and i like how they put it as a champion change and not at the bottom for the bugs. e and q bug both basically happen on average 1-2 times per game, and every time it happens you can lose between 20 and 300+ dmg

Glad you're excited for the Shyvana QoL! That bug fix was long overdue.

One more Shyv change that didn't make it into the patch notes: The AOE zone left behind from Shyvana's Dragon E will apply the mark to enemies that enter it. Her W tick rate has also been reduced from 1s to 0.5s

In the patch notes it's noted: "his ultimate's blades would incorrectly converge on his target rather than his current location", but his ultimate isn't supposed to converge at all: not on him, not on anyone. The issue is that pressing Q while it's unusable ends (recasts) Shadow Assault.

PBE is not up yet and I can't check for myself. Is it just bad/confused wording in the patch notes? Or has the issue not been addressed properly?

It's just the phrasing in the patch notes - R will not recast in that scenario.

No problem! These were long overdue anyway, and I can't take all the credit. Stashu (the designer for Talon's Rework) did a lot of the heavy lifting fixing bugs in time for 11.24.

I've got some similar QoL fixes for Pantheon Q that will be going out for 12.1

It would give the same cute effect it has when the passive is down, now you barely see them for most part of the game otherwise

Thanks for the feedback - The current plan is to keep the passive VFX the way it currently looks like for her release, but we're open to changes post-release if they affect gameplay clarity in some way.

As for the wings, the Chroma team is discussing whether they'll make a color adjustment for 11.20.
