Big ups for going all the way here, not 100% sure about broken limitless lol but for those that have them ig they could just charge with 1 spark to play the system so it works. Still looking at double current cost for the unlock?

Yeah double cost will still be what happens, with these refund changes though I imagine it'll make the grind to that double cost much easier for those who already have sigils

Hello everyone,

We have made some further changes to the refunding of sigils (see the new refund approach below), thank you for providing feedback and expressing concerns about the game integrity with the previous approach. our apologies for suggesting the first proposal was final, we will investigate how we can avoid this from happening in the future. moving forward we hope to communicate more clearly.

Slaying/Ferocious/Aggression sigils

  • 22.5 million Shattered Anima

  • Additionally you'll receive:

    • 22.5k Shattered Anima per charge for Ferocious & Slaying sigils
    • 45k Shattered Anima per charge for Aggression sigil

Golden Touch/Unsullied/Limitless sigils*

  • 1 vital spark for every charge left in in the sigil

Dragon/Demon/Undead Slayer sigils

  • 50 black stone hearts,
  • Additionally, if unused o...

I like this, but it's still unfair that you're increasing the cost of the sigils. If I have the sigil now, I should also have it after the update.

Considering the Sigil you have now is one that requires an upkeep, the cost increase for a Ability which is just the sigil but with no upkeep I think personally is worth!

I mean they kind of have to if they introduce a major PVM change on Tuesday, while planning to implement it 6 days later...

Bad on their part for not introducing us to it earlier. (which is one of the reasons for the major outrage, given it felt pushed down our throats)

Retroactively not announcing earlier was a mistake for sure, however at the very least I'm glad we did on Tuesday because imagine if we got to the update and you were suddenly surprised by this?

As long as a sigil doesn't activate GCD when GCD is ready, this is all good.

It totally doesn't, RuneScape Twitter will share a GIF soon :)

Very impressed by the swift changes following the feedback. Thank you.

The feedback was... tough to digest naturally but we just gathered all the critical feedback and fed back what we thought were the ideal changes to make.

From initial reactions I think we can be happy with this :)

Actually, you're right. Good catch, I'm blind!

I’ll get a follow up GIF showing this!

Good stuff, I can only see one issue and that's using a sigil after charging a deto, some people like to use Dragon slayer sigil, release deto an auto/debuff + WM as a combo.

If that's not something that can be changed, I'll still welcome what you're doing by removing it off GCD and not having it cancel channeled abilities.

Seems it's not, I'm blind and missed the 3rd gif and just looked at the 2nd.

With these changes you can already activate limitless mid deto charge, meaning you can do that exact combo if I'm not mistaken!

If that was the actual function that’d be OP, the news post was wrong on that particular bit so it was edited to reflect the actual bonus!

how about the totem drop rates, and all other Anachronia drop rates that are still being hidden from us a month onward, its been a month with NO updates since Loot and now we have another month of nothing and we can't even be told the drop rates on the shit when ive seen posts saying that they have been given permission to release them to us, so really why the hell hasnt it been released yet?, no-one cares for this antsy 'oooh its a big whoo whoo secret hehe'. that shit sailed hence the original drop table requests.

Watch the stream and wait and see :)

Will be revealing the chance of getting a triple dino on stream later on :)

So with /u/JagexDaze's blessing I worked with the Wiki lot to sort this calculator to help you figure out your capture rates with a Ushabti.

Use it and let me know how you get on!

But I'd say Jagex hasn't been consistent with content this past year. Currently I'm in the processes of making a post showcasing exactly what I mean but it's a post I rather do right than post it just for karma or out of spite. (And I'd love to discuss some details privately when I get the chance, Shauny).

For example, in the past 12 months, there have been more patch weeks than any other 12 month segment. Or if you go specifically by 2019, 2019 has had more patch weeks than any other year (except 2018) despite us only being 7 months in.

My frustration is mainly out of passion for this game, rather than hatred. I like the Jagex employees, but I get frustrated with the business side of the company.

That's simply due to the fact we're focusing a lot more on bugfixing, etc.

We have a vast amount of content in-game for players to play and we wanted to improve existing content to give a better experience.

In the recent patch weeks we've seen at least 100+ patch notes, looking at our release board we have another 350 jobs awaiting release, and we're aiming to get an additional 100+ jobs going through so we get a nice backlog of fixes to launch.
