Linking forum accounts to game accounts

To join the Elvenar forums, it has always been necessary to have a game account with a validated email address, and the forum account would always have the same name as the game account it was registered through. But, other than that one-time registration, there was no link between a forum- and game account, causing changes to the game account (e.g. change of name or e-mail address) to not be reflected for the forum account. Yeah or sure, I know we use Whatsapp on Forge as a very good work around for the Guild/s. Knowing people react well to a mobile ping.
Yes we get tickets or players who have deleted threads and cannot get back in and that has been flagged up even in the last week.  

My thoughts were in my Fellowship we use multiple messaging windows with important news and directions and respond to these via chat to not then bury them. So thats where I was coming from with my comment. That way nothing gets buried in the messages and get deleted once no longer needed. I am aware a lot of Fellowships run it this way.  

Hence we have Chat for people to discuss items and the Message System for important announcements for the fellowships.

So this says that perhaps your Fellowship is not using these in the intended way.

We can confirm that we would not permit players access to the News system, for many reasons not least that this is a server wide notification system, not designed to be geared to a single Fellowship.  

We do have emojis in the Forum, however the reason we do not permit these in the game is there are too many versions to programme in as each manufacturer uses a different interface, the programming would be quite vast.  

We struggled with the best wording so I have reverted to 'when'

We are updating our International worlds to version 1.118, tomorrow the 24th of November.

The list of changes can be found below:

Improvements

• Several Fellowship options for players who have not yet joined a Fellowship have been reworked and relocated. They can now all easily be accessed through the Fellowship button below the player profile:
  • The "Join" button no longer takes players to the rankings, but instead directly to a list of suggested Fellowships that they could join. Fellowship rankings are also still accessible in a different tab within the same window.
  • Founding a Fellowship is done in the same window, instead of opening a new dialogue.
  • The algorithm for suggested Fellowships has been improved to provide better results.

The Developers have confirmed that a Universal Artifact will never happen in the game as each one is deemed to be very rare.
This is why this year the ability to craft Artifacts from similar Artifacts has appeared as a way to help players with older pets that have not been fully evolved to add to them, or swap the Artifacts for this years ones.
Spell fragments are another story and is something that is being looked at currently.  

We have this on Forge of Empires for full city collections, although the use of this is diamond geared.  

Compared to the last version, this is allowing for far less of a shanty town to be created as we had players with vast numbers of buildings (100's). It also gives a choice of which manufactories to place given the space available, rather than needing all T1 before.
Hopefully players are starting to amass the Teleport Building spells to also help with making some room.

That is correct @Timneh. It is something that we would like to have, but due to the resources issues, this is preventing it from happening currently.  

Unfortunately not every player is able to understand the CET/CEST @Autumn Goldleaf to be able to work it out

Yeah sorry guys, I was hit with the curse of the rude words and being so sweet and innocent I never saw them
So I apologise profusely, but we have tested this yet again on the team and rumour has it, that is is now all good with nothing shady hiding in there.
Players who had submitted entries, have been contacted and can add another  

We erm managed to have rude word there so this meant a very quick juggle around as we did not spot it at all
So apologies for that, you will now see the left over words slightly morphed around and will give you the sentance we are looking for!  

Yep it was amended about 10 miins ago @UlyssesBlue as typically when I was typing it up I deferred to the original and not the finished one at 2am today. So check those letters again
