Just spinning back on this subject.
Please be aware that the ads are based on individual browsing history and settings. Which is the joy of how cookies work across the internet these days. This means that ads are sorted based on the devices and users history, rather than just being totally randomised.
I am not sure from some of the comments here that everyone quite realises this, so just popping by as had my attention drawn back to this earlier today.

That is correct as per the official announcement, things moved straight to discord as soon as it went live. Yes we are all still here, and also now there too.

They have been, but many players do not wish to register to join the Forum to do this.

@OldHag We get most of our requests directly to support, as most players bypass the Forum entirely for this. There are a few Discord mentions prior to our announcement if you use the search option here 9around 5 pages full). Hence here we are currently with this discussion.

This has been player demand and has been constant for at least the 5 years I know about here, currently we are seeing if these thousands of requests for this can work to help the community - or not.
As with anything without actually trying this, we would never know the extent to how it could roll....so here we are rolling with the requests and seeing how that rolls...

We are indeed hoping to keep Forums open, and are monitoring the numbers closely to see if there is any upsurge on the Forums in not only the number of posts but also the number of unique users.
As usual the more the merrier here, as it really will help us.

You do not need to use your Elvenar sign in as Discord would not recognise this as it is only used for your accounts with us here at Elvenar. Discord sign up is completely independent from us, you would either need to register a new account with them or use an old account if you have already created one in the past on there.

They have, as well as our announcements and release notes, these are now all located on Discord.

This is basic device management that I am mentioning, every person using a device, be it pc, laptop, tablet, phone should be making this a regular routine for device maintenance ie at least monthly or bi-weekly if using app/s that are frequently updating their programming (like ourselves). I especially mention this here as I do not think everyone realises how their devices use caching systems and how they store outdated data to load sites faster. This outdated data is what causes most display issues. Why the support team are constantly reminding players to be mindful of this especially after any version update we make as we do fundamentally change a lot of programming with these; so when your device still keeps the old codes we deleted and then cannot load the new ones (as they block them) this is when all sorts of odd display issues can and will occur.

This can occur if a cache clear has not been done on the browser or the app after our update to a new version or a hotfix for bugs. As the caching system will regurgitate old saved codes and cause all sorts of display issues. Please do a cache clear and device restart after we release a new version and all will be well :)
