I'll look into making this better. Any suggestions on how you folks would like this to be easier for yourselves?

Happy Friday!

I know you folks are waiting for the production build but I'm going to keep these changes in beta until I'm happy with stability. It's not quite there yet. I'd like to move these changes to production tomorrow but I'll need to see if it still has major bugs to fix. Thanks for the patience. :)

There is one new feature which I've added to the game and that's Room Actions. This is a new menu found on the toolbar. It's where you'll find special abilities related to rooms. We're very light on these at the moment with the Farsight Beacon being the only room with an action currently. We have big plans for more actions though! Some that come to mind are:
-Town hall bell - ringing it sends everyone to the town hall except your fighters/militia.
-Trade with Merchant - we plan on adding a merchant-type room whe... Read more

You can't build stairs in the air. You have to place them on something.

Hello!

Here are my answers:
1.are there any plans to add new biomes?
Oh boy, do we! I will continue to work on this game for a loooong time, so who knows how many we'll add, but the main ones we're most interested in are: tundra, marshlands, grasslands, volcano, floating mountains, and canyons. Plus, I have a ton of unique world locations based on the lore that I'm going to add. :)

2.in terms of the next update what will it have?
The next update focuses a lot on fixes. Every now and then I have to put out a maintenance update. It does have lots of improvements for the Ancients race, though. i.e., a new Room Actions menu to better use the Farsight Beacon.

3.take as much time you need to add alout of content but do you have a timeframe of when you would like to release i it ? is it likely this year or next
I don't know actually. It's lik... Read more

You can do two things to keep them from being able to climb it:
-Build a fence at the top like:

You can!

You can do so from the utility menu (U) or when placing the job (the four-color panel just above the job menu).

-There are four states for a job priority: 0, 1, 2, 3.
-States 1 - 3 simply determine the order in which a job will be completed, where 3 is the most important and 1 is the natural default for all jobs. 0 on the other hand, will never be completed and is useful for planning.
-Job priority setting works in concert with all skills. So, if you set the priority for a mining job to 3, your laborer will focus on that over the harvest job they may have been planning on starting.
-There are two methods of setting priority: through the utility options menu or as you set the job. When placing jobs, you'll notice four colored boxes right above the tool bar. These determine the current priority for the job you are placing. Whereas, for the utility option, you set priority with left/right clicks. Left to increase, right to decrease.
-Priori... Read more
