Currently, no. A few folks have requested it, so I'll probably add it. From the settler window (O), you can set the default professions. This will determine what profession entities will have when spawning/becoming adults. That might help a bit.

Thanks for taking the time to come and say that. I really appreciate it! I'm glad you found the game through that bundle. I'm still working on the game and plan to for as long as I can. I definitely haven't added all the things I want just yet.

What platform are you on?

You might want to try clearing Unity's (the game engine's) player prefs as well as Odd Realm's saved settings. Follow these steps below:

WINDOWS
1. Delete unity related settings (PlayerPrefs):
Open the Registry Editor:
Press Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter.
Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unknown Origin Games\OddRealm
Right-click the folder for the game and choose Delete.

2. Delete Odd Realm Saves and Settings:
Navigate to the folder where Unity saves persistent data:
C:\users\you\appdata\locallow\Unknown Origin Games\OddRealm
Delete the entire folder to clear saved game data.

OSX
1. Delete unity related settings (PlayerPrefs):
Open Finder and go to:
~/Library/Preferences/Unknown Origin Games.OddRealm.plist
Delete the .plist file for the game.

2. Delete Odd Realm Saves and Settings:

Bug Fixes, Entity Overlay, UI Improvements - 1.0.32.0

Hey Oddities!

I've uploaded 1.0.32.0 which focuses on bugs, performance, and various issues. I have also been trying to clean up UI based on feedback. This has mostly been around the tooltips, but I also added in the entity info screen which you can open by hitting T. Moved some of extra entity stuff from their tooltip into there to cleanup the tooltip.

With that stuff out of the way, I'd like to also clean up the production, room, and blueprint UI. I know that needs a lot of work. I've gotten some really great feedback on that. As well, I am going to start adding in some more content. I want to add back in events and some more overworld stuff. Looking forward to that!

That sounds incredibly frustrating and I'm sorry you experience this when booting up the game.

I would love to see if you are getting any specific errors in the debug logs. That would help me figure out what could cause this for you.

Note on Mac: Your Library folder might be hidden by default. Shift+Command+. will show hidden folders in the Finder and should make the Library folder visible if it is hidden.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to add something to make this easier. An alternative is to change the profession from the entity tooltip when one is selected. Though, that's not better, but it might make changing a specific entity's profession quicker.

I think this is ok? The higher priority jobs should be done immediately/first. This is important for jobs like eating/drinking so they are done right away.

Hey everyone,

I don't have a new patch or anything but I wanted to post a quick update so folks don't think I'm awol or anything. Every now and then I see the odd post saying I've abandoned the game or something similar. I have not.

That said, I definitely won't be able to match the amount of work that was going into the game pre 1.0. I was working every day this last year, and it was not healthy. It really burnt me out and I don't want to feel that way again. As well, I'm dealing with a bunch of family and life challenges at the moment, so I don't have the same bandwidth to completely focus my efforts on the game. Hope you can understand.

As for the game dev stuff, I'm currently focused on testing some improvements to jobs, pathing, and performance. These are complicated systems, so I'm trying to take my time with them. I want to fix the issues people have mentioned quickly, but I also don't want to rush them out only to create other problems. These are also... Read more

Anyone know if Floors are a "Solid" object?

They should be solid. I will take a look to make sure attacks/water don't move through them.
