Everyone is going to have their own personal interpretation of "biggest" which no doubt is going to result into a lot of expectations of things I never even said were coming.

I would suggest that before you guys start making Wishlist's of whats "biggest" to you personally, you wait and see whats to come

Otherwise some people are going to end up with broken dreams of things never even promised or hinted at.

Generally we have 5 updates a year and I was referring to that. But as I said, this next update is one of the biggest in War Thunders history (almost like 2 majors at once in some respects), so things can always change.

Comment

It was just a slight bug in this frame. Germany never used the vehicle in this configuration.

Comment

Its always the case of, if something is not ready for its planned update, it generally moves back to the next one that comes unless there is something else plans.

Where did we say that? ))))))))))))

Comment

An updates size is not judged by raw vehicle numbers alone. If you want to do it that way, 1.91 was the largest update ever because it had 120 vehicles mostly because of China.

However this update is probably one of the largest in War Thunders history (not in terms of vehicles alone)

Comment

Considering a lot people are asking for more domestic designs to fill out trees, particulaly in WW2 ranks, I think it's fair to say it's a lot better than nothing.

Comment

That's a shame. You will miss out on all the epic things to come this update

But hey, who am I kidding it's literally the first Dov blog so clearly that means the whole update is shown already right? )))

To be clear, I was talking about the British GR.1 being the early one with regards to later variants. But there are consideration for the French variants too. We already have several things in consideration for Jaguar A, including countermeasures.

Comment

So very very soon™ then )))

Comment

Without a single blog yet, thats impressive )))

Comment

Nobody ever claimed this was the policy or an excuse. Only that it was generally a trend and something to be expected, rather than expecting back to back top tier all the time.

Comment

We cant confirm what is / is not being worked on as thats not announced generally. Even DMM dont always announce everything and even when they do its not always right at the start of development and not always right before it comes out. Its situational.

But I can say dont expect Type 10 anytime soon.

Comment

Ah cool so everything I dont deny now is now confirmed? Seems legit )))

We dont deny everything. Not because it is/isn't coming, because we just dont do that in general. The only time we do that is when the topic is taken off track for pages and pages for a vehicle that's both not coming and also wildly off topic.

Other than that, dont expect us to start saying "no" every time someone brings up any machine.

That was a good one.

Due to the previous major update, we had a significant rise in reports which our Technical Moderators are working through. Please bare in mind Technical Moderators are volunteers and players too, who give up their free tome to review and forward reports on to the developers.

We will be recruiting new moderators shortly.

I dont think anyone has ever claimed Jaguar was a very "top tier aircraft" in the sense of Mirage III. But its a strong CAS aircraft that has some of the best air-to-air missiles in game.

None of this also changes the fact that, as I said, F-4Es or not, Mirage IIIC is still among the best performing aircraft in game.

Comment

It seems lots of others are still having fun. Mirage III is among the top performing aircraft in game.

Its very far from being totally outclassed.

France has much more in the works. But considering they just got Mirage III and Jaguar A back to back, they are hardly also being left out or behind.

Comment

Its not easy to implement as you claim.

Tank RB and Aviation RB are both RB. BRs as well as default control settings and several other core elements are split via the 3 main modes of Arcade, Realistic and Simulator.

We understand that in an ideal world it would be excellent to have BRs split per mode, per difficulty, but realistically, this is both not practical or "easy" to implement.

Comment

MiG-21s (SMT & MF) are the second most performing family of aircraft after the F-4 Phantoms. For the 10.7 bracket to be created, they must go up. Consider at 10.3, they are also open to face 9.3 aircraft as well.

They cannot remain at 10.3.

Currently there are no planned changes to helicopter BRs.
