Plans for ship borne aircraft are underway and we do have a few ships we are looking into for aircraft now. It's a little too early to say spesifcally what aircraft (or era of) they will receive at this time until any final decisions are made.

Currently it doesn't have an aircraft. But it is still being worked on, so its a bit too early to say at this time.
It was more to do with the estimated performance of the aircraft for the Hunter, not year of introduction as it was inside of the games cut-off date anyway. Until we managed to get all of the required details on it, its flight performance was what was holding it back. Im well aware of the work that went into that aircraft, as it was me visiting many museums for photos and documentations on it.
I would ask once again to keep things on topic and not derailing to subjects that have nothing to do with the major at hand.
And all discussions further to this on it can be taken to that topic. It's entirely off topic here and nothing to do with this update.
In response to a question as to why Britian has had the Phantoms as their fighter, among other factors, as other nations have more vehciles to add over the same period.
Once again, this was answered, concluded already asked twice to take any further discussions to the correct places. As it has nothing to do with this topic.
Please do not ignore this again. As this is a final warning.
Year of introduction is and always has been completely meaningless.
Enough derailment please. The wishlist topic and Italian section exist for discussions like this. As I've already clarified, it has nothing to do with this update.
There are topics already open to discuss this. This is not the place. Please do not detail this topic further.
Some nations have more options available over time than others. Where some nations may have 5 or so options, others could have 1-2 over the same period.
We have new aircraft in development or plans for all nations. It however has nothing to do with being "far off" the performance of the F-14 but a multitude of other developmental reasons, content deployment and other factors.
This does not relate to this update or this topic however as this is for discussing content in the next major update and as i have already calarified, the later aircraft Italy used as fighters after the ASA are not in this update. Such matters can be taken as I have already said to more appropriate topics.
The question was how it's performing statistically at its BR. Not how much it's used or any of the other points you mentioned.
I answered a question and it's concluded now. This doesn't need to become an ASA discussion as there are topics for that
The Devs are investigating it's behaviours yes. A small correction was deployed last major which was hoped would resolve it. However more investigations are underway.
It's holding well at it's BR with them.
Italy received a new top rank fighter with the F-104S ASA the patch before last. We gave the ASA AIM-9L immediately to compensate for its Flight performance compared to other top aircraft, as this was the only real option for a new Italian pure fighter at the time.
Past this, Italy jumps to much later aircraft, which won't be in this update. So a new top pure fighter shouldn't be expected this update for Italy.
We haven't skipped anything. UAVs are a totally different class and are unrelated to aircraft in game in terms of generation.
I said lower expectations for a British top tier fighter. Not fighters in general.
We have outlined all the plans for Drones in this major in the blog
All 3 drones are analogues of each other in terms of in game use and performance wise. Date of introduction is a rather meaningless factor in this context.
The whole point of a teaser is you dont know when its coming. As its a tease. So im not going to do a daily confirmation check.
Not this patch. But as always, suggestions are welcome.
More likely tomorrow. It's looking quieter today for now.
