You’d be wanting to complain about the GM team, not the community team, if you’re talking about tickets.

you can price something at 0.01 isk if you want. That’s 3 significant figures.
you cannot price something at 100.01 isk. That would require 5. Once you go above 100 isk, your minimum increment is 0.1 isk. once you’re above 1000 isk, it’a 1 isk. etc etc

Commenting just on margin trading:

The margin trading scam depending on the client lying to a player. This was bad.

Interesting. And how does a packer filter deal with a DDOS which uses more bandwidth than you have provisioned?

How does it deal with, say, traffic happening on the ports you actually need to work?

Oh, wait, your post is utterly pointless.

From the topic of this thread, mass production.

Those metal molds are stupid expensive to get made. But over the course of their life span, they’re worth it.

Other materials, not so much.

Actually, my printer can just print straight from an SD card. It’s not unusual. And there’s things like octoprint for the Pi.

Yes, you can have (and would have) multiple 3D printers. They’re still a limited resource.

As for molds, either you’re spending a lot on them, or they wear out very quickly.

At least hours. I did a basic 4 inch venture, and it took around 8 hours.

That wasn’t a particularly detailed print. Though different printers take different times. Getting a higher infill, or a smaller layer, can increase the time significantly. (I’m printing it again at a higher quality level, which is taking around 13 hours. Though that’s still a 0.4mm nozzle. 0.1 would make it better quality, but at a massive increase to print time.)

The 13 hour venture’s only 33g of PLA too.

(anything over 8 hours is probably a day. Unless you’re running multiple shifts, which is another expense)

That’s not the serpentis logo.

Serpentis logo is the two blocks with the serpentine wave between them.

I’d like it on a polo shirt

Whatever could that teaser be…

If you haven’t, I’d suggest doing that again, and if you get the same slow down, bug report it from in game, before restarting. That way ccp get some more logs on it.

Throw me the ebr if you do, so I can wave it

Quick note for people.

If you’re running into a bug, try bug reporting it from within Eve.
That gives CCP more logs from your client, meaning they have a better chance to actually run the bug to ground.

You have my sympathy, for having to work with Oracle. It’s a powerful database, but not a nice one.

From MS SQL to MySQL?

You’ll have to forgive me, but I suspect those databases were pretty trivial. The tooling for management of MySQL databases, and management of execution plans is, umm, less good.

Maybe Postgres. But MySQL has some fairly really old bugs in it, which aren’t going to get fixes.

Aussies have been quietly complaining about downtime in the middle of their prime time for years.

And grateful it’s been reduced repeatedly.

Remember you can always put sub folders in. I dont think they’re particularly limited

Post

Not directly.

But you could have a public access folder that you link to the fleet to see

(Using a fleet for an ACL isnt possible, as they’re very ephemeral things)

You cant get into a public folder, unless you have a link for it
